    Just an update on Friday nights game, Hibs took the lead on 2 mins, a great strike from Jamie McMurdo, Hibs has most of the pressure for the remains of that half but Gers did play their part. 2nd half, Curtis equalised with some good interplay. On just over the hour mark Harry Wright did well to cross into the box where 15 year old left back Lewis Gillie headed home. This was Lewis’s second game in the U18s, he had played in the bounce game against Dundee the previous week. It looks like we have another two fullbacks that have has a good showing at this level, Lewis and right back 14 year old Arron McSporran.
    it was also good to see Jacob McIntyre back playing after 4months out with injury, it looks like he is back to where he left off.
    I was a bit surprised that Rangers were not as good as their league position suggests.

    He did, he has done well moving up the field.
    Harry was the normal right back, but with Rory Whittaker breaking into the U18s, Harry moved further forward, he was even played up front. But he is looking good in left midfield.
    I was hearing that Gareth and other were talking to parents and kids looking to join the academy at U10s etc. they pointed out that we had a 14 y/o playing for the U18s and he was in the team because the normal player in that position was a 16 year old and he was playing for the first team against Aberdeen that same day. Great advert for joining Hibs.

    Great to have Jacob Mac back, he’s exactly what we need in our midfield.

    Give him time and he’ll get in to the reckoning I think.

    was chuffed to bits when he made the squad for the Motherwell game, unfortunately never made bench but enjoyed seeing him be part of the pre match warm up😄

    @HibernianFC Res 5-2 @AirdrieoniansFC
    Hat trick from Josh Lander, and one each from Dean Cleland and Malik Zaid.

    Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

    Never seen a senior player try as hard as Harry McKirdy for reserves, he just can’t seem to score a goal, he cut a frustrated figure at the end.
    Not through lack of effort, he put in a good shift.

    I have a feeling (maybe more of a hope right now) that once McKirdy finds his shooting boots he will go on to make a decent contribution to the squad.

    He has energy and effort that’s never been in question
    But if Landers gets a hatrick and Mckirfldy can’t even score a pen it’s not looking good fir him re producing the goods in the first team
