Already bored watching Chisnall and Gurney. The slow play, stepping back and stalling makes for a brutal watch.

Gary needs to add 20 on his average and hope Dolan drops off
This is far to easy right now

Even Lee Johnson couldn't get Gary through this, horrendous, it's like watching Man United. ☺️

Anderson's finishing - even by his standards - is hilariously bad.
It's not even pub player level.

You would have got long odds on it being 2-2, 20 mins ago but he's played some great stuff to come back.

Something wrong with Dolan, nae Idea where the massively high 20s are coming from.

Dolan wins 4-3 and probably just about deserved it. Anderson played well for 2 and a bit sets but was rotten at the beginning and end.
The 2 darts at double 4 in the last set cost him dear, though in true Anderson style missing 3 at double 5 in the last leg was typical.

It's as if the last year hadn't happened for Anderson, that was brutal. Just couldn't get any momentum at all. Gutted at that.

Loved how he didn't go for the bull for the 170 checkout and played the %. Would have taken the roof off if he got it, but given how far RVB was behind, it was a very mature decision.

Cullen choked big style in losing to Humphries although they both made a meal of it in the end. Great game but just shows you how the match pressure gets to the best in the world.

Would be great for the sport if Cross and MVG both get put out and there's a new name on the trophy. Even Humphries winning it as favourite would be good. "Also rans" like Dolan and Chisnall might not get a better chance.

Dobey 4-0 up and Cross comes back to win 5-4
Biggest bottle crash since Hearts at Dens Park.
Epic last set though!

That was brilliant, the match turned when Dobey missed a double 11 (IIRC Cross was 2 legs to 1 up in the 5th set) for a 142 checkout. 👏

Littler will get right up Dolan's nose with the posturing over that 170. Young man has some swagger.

Dobey will never get over that match , He was 8-2 up on Cross in the Matchplay a few years ago and lost 11-9 !! He even brought it up prior to their match today and said he will NEVER go through that again to Cross , Yet he did
That will scar him forever , He completed bottled that today , Shat the bed bigtime
