They don’t understand VAR. VAR checked for the handball that the officials missed but VAR clocked an offside in the build up so the penalty claim ( much like ours at Livingston) is a non starter. I think I'm right in saying that when there’s an offside call the resulting free kick can be taken from either where the player is initially offside or where he first makes contact with the ball. The latter was applied that looked like a goal kick was given.
Clement was adamant that offside wasn’t given but a goal kick. This is exactly why the conversation between VAR and the ref is an absolute must going forward. Same the other night at the Hearts penalty nobody knew at the ground what the hell was going on.

I would say it’s frustrating watching us crumble before them once again and then seeing them get pumped by Ross County of all teams the very next game.
