Was essentially a reserve side last night so wasn't expecting anything special but some of them have shown they aren't really first 11 picks(appreciate it was France we were playing though)

Scotland are playing a 2nd string team against France, some of the squad players needed to get a game, the result isn't important tonight but Clarke will see what these guys have got if he needs to play them.
Yep actually good these players got a runout especially against an excellent team. Good learning opportunity for Steve also.

They're a peculiar national team. European champions but haven't made it to a world cup since 2014. Haven't made it to the knockout stages of a world cup since 2006..when they won it.

They have a good manager now though. I'd back them to do well.
Watched most of that Italy looked pretty good first half. Gave away a couple of poor goals from their perspective second half and England should have been down to ten with 25 to go. Get the impression the ex Napoli coach will turn them round however they definitely have a job on to qualify now.

Another win for Argentina in the South american qualifiers, another two goals for Messi (just the 106 international goals for him now). The Saudi Arabia shock in their opening game in Qatar remains Argentina's only defeat in their last 51 games... a run stretching back to July 2019...

Also last night, Brazil went down 2-0 to Uruguay. Bad injury for Neymar

How would you feel if Anderson, Barnes and Livermento were in the next Scotland squad?
Absolutely all for it, we need better strength in depth and these 3 would be pushing for the 1st 11

Italy had a decent first half against England, I thought possibly shaded it creating better chances. England fully in control in the second half. Bellingham running the show again and Kane a class act. For Italy I was looking forward to seeing Inters Barella who has been in great form this season but to be honest he was pretty disappointing last night.

Airdrie finding it a wee bit tougher in the championship. Still doing ok and playing some nice stuff but were scoring for fun last season. Not so much this season.

Bad goal for Queens park to lose , was there a hint of offside in it ?

Not even close. He was in his own half when the pass was made. Excellent pass it was too. A 180 turn first time and the perfect weight and line.

I’m no fan of the club but I’ve always loved the Airdrie strip. Classic kit.

Him and the Queens right back both had outstanding games. Some decent football in horrible conditions.

Dunno what Tsimikas has to do to get booked here. 3 fouls already, and that latest one was well worth a yellow

Merseyside derby, it's all a bit slow and very little atmosphere!

Young should be getting a second yellow.

    Aye he’s off.

If you didn't know who the teams were you wouldn't think it was a derby

Young has looked raging since the kick off. Nobody to blame but himself

I've never got this 'let's never send off players' rhetoric.

Why even bother having cards then? They're two clear yellow cards, he should be sent off. I want to see refs produce cards whenever there is a card worthy foul, leniency does my head in.

Depending on who's refereeing, you're obviously a Liverpool fan
