Kelly had an age to clear that before the corner, can't believe how slow he was to get out to it.

    Only if helium was involved

We really lack a good player up at the top end of the park. Midfield is capable of going and competing against anyone but there is a lack of forward options for them to pass the ball to.

Our attempts to play out from the back when France are pushing so high up.... just punt it up the field.

McLean was the one who fouled the French player but they didn't even look at that. Cooper and Giroud was 50:50.

Cooper was totally stupid to think he could get away with that when VAR is about

This has the makings of a very bad night for England. If France win by more than two it makes a real claim by them to be favourites next year. It'll be really dispiriting for our neighbours if France manage to gut us. Real crisis for them. I wouldn't discount a panic sacking of Southgate tomorrow.

wonder who's bright idea it was to line up a friendly in france

i can't remember who our manager was around the time we were lining up friendlies against sides that were far too good for us and it damaged our co-efficient

Aye it's one thing getting tested against the top teams but France was a step too far. We've just played England and Spain FFS.

Our 2nd choice players are for the most part not good enough and having no decent front men is a huge problem.
