The Wilderness on Amazon…dear oh dear, don’t waste your time on this pondering pile of banality.
I've just reached the bit where she finds the gold chain in the middle of the forest, do me a favour! ☺️

Think you are close to where I gave up on it!

To say the plot is thin is being rather generous and we could probably fill many pages with the random nonsense this series contains.

I particularly liked the 100 person search party with helicopters the lot that was immediately launched for the woman that went missing a couple of hours before. That genuinely made me laugh.

You’ll do better than me if you force yourself to watch it to the end. I really couldn’t be bothered even after getting so far through it.

The Beckham documentary on Netflix is surprisingly good, a pretty honest account of his career and the ups and downs.

Started watching Bourdains Parts Unknown. I personally find it fascinating.

I never saw West Wing first time round. Got box set and it is brilliantly produced, though dated obviously. Most of the dialogue takes place walking at speed along corridors!

All business in the Whitehouse is carried out in corridors, and conversations always end exactly at the moment one of the interlocutors reaches their intended destination.

    FACT!

I really enjoyed both series. However, can see me beginning to lose interest if they go down the route of simply bussing in new characters each season rather than actually beginning to give answers.

It's a great production and I can see why it was such a smash at the time it came out.

It's been a long time coming but, Warrior continues to be good halfway through season 3.

The Reckoning is a bit of an uneasy watch, some performance from Steve Coogan though.

Has anyone reviewed Slow Horses yet? It's on Apple TV.

I've just watched the first 2 episodes and I'm gripped.

In episode 1, the boss, Lamb, is bit too debauched and nasty to be wholly realistic, but his character seems to calm down a bit in episode 2.

Otherwise the story is intelligent and, sadly, highly believable.

I'm already disappointed that there's only 6 episodes in each season.

I've only watched the first season, really enjoyed it. Season 2 on my list as season 3 is out pre-Xmas.

Yeah it’s a quality watch for both seasons. Gary Oldman is brilliant throughout.

I see there’s now a trailer for the new Frasier re-boot. Looks better than I feared, but still wish they would have left it alone.

Will give it a try, but they can’t get close to the original and the dynamic with Nile’s, Martin, Daphne & Roz.

It's been panned. Fellow massive fan here and yeah, they should have left it alone. Sounds like Kelsey Grammer wanted it and studios are basically desperate for any existing IP.

From what I read, there are various parts where Frasier does/says things that are wildly inconsistent with previous shows, forgetting basic stuff that happened in Cheers for example.

And Freddy is now a fireman and completely different from his teenage self. The worst part is, they could have used the original Freddy actor but chose to recast.

    Think I'll avoid it entirely

Yeah, watched the first 4 episodes, it is entertaining and outrageous, wouldn't expect anything less.

We started this the other night (based on the mention here) and we’re loving it so far.

I took an episode or so to figure out whether it was being funny or serious but quickly realised it was doing both well.

Season 4 of Breeders starts on Sky Comedy on Thursday, a massively underrated show.
