Lawson's first with the assist from Shiv was like watching Le Fondre and Vente linking up. Brilliant from two CHs

And had the first-half overhead kick come off (it was close to), it would’ve been some goal given the build-up.

    Great result for the ladies.

Baucom on the score sheet again.

    An absolutely fantastic result.

Decent draw for us in the quarter final of the League Cup, with the added bonus that either Celtic or Glasgow City go out.

    Celtic v Glasgow City
    HIBS v Dundee Utd
    Partick Thistle v Montrose
    The Rangers v Boroughmuir Thistle

Delighted with that, would have preferred an Edinburgh derby but can't complain!

Tickets now available for the next home game against Hearts.

Tickets are free but a donation can be made to the girls academy 👍👍

An excellent idea. Hopefully a big attendance and a decent amount donated.

    Bleep!

Missed last year due to Covid and was looking forward to this year but I've already got something that day.

Should be a good crowd though, particularly with the men's team not playing.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Partick at home 4pm, could be tricky fixture.

The game's on youtube if you can't make it down

A quick look at the table after 8/9 games shows the top 3 teams already going off into the distance.
Hibs and Hearts equally predictably in 4th and 5th place with Partick Thistle again and an improving Aberdeen a few points behind them.
The other 5 teams are already tailed off with the bottom ones with massive negative goal differences.

    Hibs need to win today.
New Hibs favourite Baucom has a great build for a player. Really looks the part.

Nice to see Hearts women enjoy a good old 2 nil up and f*** it up like their male counterparts.

Absolutely dreadful result for them 💚💚

Certainly is, but a fantastic effort from Montrose.
    Kudos to them!

Full-time. 0-2. Watched last 20 or so minutes and Thistle looked the better side. Hibs hit the bar late on and missed another good chance, but poor result.

Wasteful and naive performance from the Hibs girls from what I watched, pretty poor standard sadly.

I watched the first half and really thought the hibee women would go to win. Hibs started poorly but were well on top going in at half time. I was surprised to find that they eventually lost by two goals as Thistle were certainly no world beaters.

  19. #1488
Dominated the game, hit the woodwork 3 times. Not our day.

Despite it being a defeat, I think Hearts had the worse result given the opposition.

Partick manager Brian Graham really has had his team playing for him since last season and
£ for £ they continue to be the best team in the league.

Hibs were actually the better team for at least the first hour but the Thistle keeper had a good game.

Sounds like a saw the worst of it! I so want them to do well, but it looks to me like Scottish Women's football has settled into the same hierarchical pattern as the Men's game, with the honourable exception of Glasgow City.

A classic Edinburgh derby across the city. Spartans 2-0 up and hearts somehow won 4-3.

I'm guessing Celtic and Rangers ladies are full time? Possibly Glasgow city too?
