    Cowdenbeath captain

Quite an emotional five minute watch: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/66959942

Puts a lot of things into perspective.

It does indeed. Life can be cruel at times, tragic for those who suffer and for their families.

We should all enjoy what we have, in the here and now.

He's a brave lad, I can't imagine what he and his family have gone through.

I have seen what this horrible disease does and how it effects the person and their family. A very brave man and wish him and his family all the best. Luckily for us we were on the right side of the 50/50.

    An inspirational character.

    Truly horrible disease.

It takes a staggering level of character and courage to keep moving forward when you're inflicted with a predetermined fate. A true inspiration indeed.

In saying that, hopefully not so predetermined with the continued advances in neurological science.

Wow, a hard watch. Inspirational attitude.

Just watched it on View from the Terrace. Humbling indeed.

That programme does these short features beautifully

Yep. Find it mental that some folk are desperate to slag off the show. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, but is really fair over all Scottish leagues and the mini documentaries are brilliant. Folk seem desperate to focus on the fact that there’s 2 jambos on it. (There’s 2 Hibs fans involved too)

Tbf, the two jambo are far more involved than the two hibs fans, but I agree, think the show is grand. Fowler is very fair to hibs.

The 2 jambos pretty much started the podcast. Both are well informed, but Joel plays the jambo pantomimist villain beautifully.
We cry out for a Scottish football show that doesn’t focus on the old firm. Here it is yet folk want to slag it. Mad.

What an emotional watch. Good luck to him and his family. Truly tragic to have that running through a bloodline

Yeah Fowler started it at Napier. I believe he grew up with most of his pals being Hibees (such as Tony Anderson and Chris Finn), so probably helps to be less partisan.

Totally agree with this. It's a fair look at our game and celebrates everything non old firm. The 'jambo-ness' is all very pantomime and the Hibees on the show dish it out too.

The short films are just brilliant and last night's was very inspiring.

That’s an incredible and inspiring watch. Amazing how is so determined to get on with it and just do stuff. Even though he has inherited it let’s just hope that somehow he doesn’t go on to get the actual disease. I am guessing that in some cases that must be possible, though am not sure what the statistics for that are.
