    What was Vente's goal like?
Decent play between Miller and Youan and he squeezed it in from about six yards.

What’s the point of the forum. Do you think we played well. Should we discuss that.

How about, we won. Players never really broke a sweat in doing so and can now give it their best go on Wednesday? The best outcome wouldn't you say?

Jeggo tho. Did you see him running at 100%. I’ll expect LJ to make a comment if he’s being consistent.
You previously criticised him for "throwing players under buses" but now you expect him to do it all the time.

    Talk about consistency.

Think saying they never broke sweat is just totally wrong. Raith we’re in the game right until the last minute and we were extremely poor in the first half, so much so we had to bring on one of the players we wanted to rest at half time.

Positives are the result, Youan influencing another game and another goal for Vente.

Thought the game showed up many of our deficiencies again which is worrying against a poor opposition.

When I said "didn't break a sweat". I never meant that it was easy or in any way convincing. But the team did win the game today without ever really upping the gears and I believe that's what they were going for.

For the love of god! Ok we won. Close down the forum.

And then if nobody has much to say the same folk will be on calling people out for not posting.

The forum would be absolutely dead if all we done was came on, posted well done and disappeared after a win.

No I don’t want him to ever do it. You get me. But I’m sure he will pick up on the lack of effort behind close doors. 🤷🏻*♂️

So you said you expect him to comment on Jeggo's percentage in order to be consistent, but if he does, you won't be happy because he shouldn't ever do it.

    Is that about right?

Good first 15 minutes then lost our way. Good start to the second half helped by Newell coming on. Slack play let them back in it but Youan’s pace and Vente’s striker’s instinct did the business. Happy to get past stuffy opponents.

Poor 1st half, Newell injected pace/drive and we did enough to get through.

No I had a game with the kids team I coach at 12.30 and didn't get back until 2. What does it matter? I've been to games home and away religiously until a year or two ago, when things got tough financially. Not sure how that disqualifies my opinion.
    Did your kids team win?

At this time last Sunday if us Hibs fans were told that we would qualify for the play off stage in Europe on Thursday and qualify for the quarter final of the League Cup today you could have been forgiven for thinking we would be happy............................

But no, I swear to God I think there are Hibs fans that are happier when we get beat.

Out of interest you do the same with the “positive” posters who clearly never attend games in person ? Fwiw everyone is entitled to an opinion but imo your perspective is undoubtedly different from watching games in person than it is from afar.
I tend not to pass an opinion on a game nowadays as I to don't attend ER, I will on here confine my opinion to disappointment if we lose, and delight if we win, as to team, player performance I try not to get involved unless I'm fortunate enough to see a whole game on TV, which is 3 European games this season.

There’s a thread on the women’s World Cup final full of people giving their opinion on the game. I wonder how many were there?

Same for every Champs League or EPL games that get discussed on here. Nobody complains about posters not being at these matches.

You guys are picking on him because you disagree. You wouldn’t have said a peep if he’d come on saying it was a fantastic performance.
I'd be careful with your accusation of picking on someone thanks. No one was being picked on, if someone states they don't go to games yet is always willing to have a moan about players/team then yes they will get picked up on it, when he started mentioning finances I left it at that.

I fancied us to go out today. Possibly go to extra time which would have been a nightmare before Wednesday. It was their cup final today. We did well to navigate them pretty comfortably in the end.

Dad sits in the West stand says they were holding a towel to it, unlikely to be putting pressure on it if they thought it was broken.

So likely just a bloody nose

Around 8,600 crowd not to shabby all things considered, good away support from them, not a great game but the aim of the game is to win and get to the next round.
We can and will play better so not worried, Some pass marks and some not so great but it is a team game, we done enough and even the seagulls stayed away most of the time.
Bring on the Villa, or as the Blues support used to sing,
    Sheite on the Villa,
    Sheite on the Villa below
    etc,etc,etc

Why? I think I raised valid points.

You didn't pull anyone up in the Women's WC final thread. I'm sure there were a few negative comments about players there!
