I agree with HITSB6Broad Street generally contains big chain types pubs, a bit soulless, but safe enough on a Thurs night. The weekend is another matter - very towny vibe.Better pub areas are Harbourne and Moseley (my old haunt), but they are probably not worth the effort getting there, as they are out of town. Digbeth is another area worth considering. As a side note, when I visited Brum for my job interview back in 97, I went to a pub on New Street (i.e dead Central) and Villa were playing in Europe, and nobody was watching the game.True fans are Blues fans.
We've booked the travelodge on Broad St, £40 for the night and free to cancel up to 12 on the day. Come on Hibs, please dont let us down.

Think Birmingham is in for a shock. Most of the city will be under the illusion that there are only two teams in Scotland. Wait till 5 thousand Hi-bees turn up 😃.

The home and away games won’t be switched however we may play the Wednesday instead of Thursday
Never heard this. Word I’ve heard is we switch.

    Villa at Birmingham
Then back at ER second leg.

All because of Hearts scaffy 92nd minute winner.

So what’s the score? Wednesday? Or still on the Thursday?

I’m coming up to Edina for the weekend on the Thursday. Would be great if we are at home.

    Flights booked, hotel booked.

Reckon there will be between 1200-1500 tickets up for grabs after Hibs First, players etc. You never know, someone has to get them.

So what’s the craic with the home game? Is it us, Hearts, Villa and Crusaders all in Edina at the same time on the same night?

Great is so as I fly up to Edinburgh early Thursday.

That we don’t know yet. He just told me that 31st was away and there are several options for UEFA re two clubs at home in the same city.

I’d play early if that was an option.

Was it not 3,000 tickets we’ll get?

    500 Hibs first ticket holders?

Surely the players and staff won’t get 1,000 tickets?

I've emailed the TO and they auto-replied saying Hibs will release details today of Home & Away so assume it must be coming after they sort out their mess.

Not necessarily, there are people who couldn't afford it who may have followed the club home and away for years. Others may have had flights cancelled last minute. Others may have had work commitments.

    Would be a terrible decision.
