I've sang in a couple of bands but never got to name them. I always liked the sound of "Platonic Gangbang".
What would you name your band?

If you had a band, what would you call them?

Started a punk band when in my daft youth called the 5Skins so named because there was already a group called the 4Skins, we then changed it because there were only 4 of us to the Service
We couldnt play or sing and our instruments were all broken. Funny thing was we knew the lead singer of Oi Polloi who said if we get up to speed we could support them
We never ever got up to speed, too much booze and funny smoking stuff took centre stage instead 😵

Dichotomy of Sin or dichotomy of speed. Dunno why. Just thought it sounded good

I fancied “Armageddon and the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse” but none of the other lads would go for it.
Unsurprisingly now.

The Support.
That way people could do silly gags on each other like they do with ‘the who’.

Remember hearing of an early 80's punk band called Goat F***** Virgin Killerz from Hell and thinking that'd be hard to beat as a name for that genre of music 😳

Tom Hart & The Bristol Butchers, from a thread title on the main board today, is tailor made for a band name.

Think Ashat Masel is brilliant but for a punk band or something either Tennents Pagger or Buckfast Tonic Swines would be great

Arse. We’d be an Elbow tribute band, and you wouldn’t be able to tell your Arse from your Elbow.

Once looked at a sandwich nearly out of date in Tesco and thought it’d make a cracking band name…

Our pub quiz team name has always been Disembursed Vagabonds, nae idea how it started but that’d be the band name.

My mate as part of his chat up patter always claimed to be in a band called “Fire Tartan” I do like that name.
I can’t think of one myself… probs something inspired by a line for a James song…"We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012
"Romanov was like a breath of fresh air - laced with cyanide." Me.
