Ancelotti must be up there as GOAT owns the Champions League

Won the Champions League as a player (2) and Manager (4)

Won the five major leagues in Europe as Manager

Brazil sniffing about Madrid told them he is going nowhere
Guardiola, Ancelotti and Ferguson are the best of the last 30 odd years. You could make an argument for all 3 to be the very best

You could also make an argument for Jock Stein Bob Paisley and Brian Clough.

Clough had a good spell but without his assistant Peter Taylor he wasn't half the manager.

He's nowhere near the others over his whole career.

Could Pep and the rest take a team from the lower part of the 2nd tier to winning the top league and the European Cup 2 years in a row with limited money. Fergie always surrounded himself with top assistants.

    Limited money?

Go and check out the transfer of Trevor Francis.

It's a myth that he didn't have money to spend...

Would have to say Alex Ferguson and Pepe Guardiola as the best
    Outsider maybe Mircea Lucescu ?

Pep has worked miracles with Barca, Bayern and Man City on shoestring budgets. Man is a genius.

There is no doubt he improves players though. Stones & Ake from Everton & Bournemouth, phenomenal performances from both this season.

The thing is, if he can't improve them or they don't suit, he is able to blast another 50 million. He had some horrendous transfers at Barcelona. Just binned them and got another. Few clubs can do that.

Read somewhere that Pep is over the £1 billion signing mark with Man City. One thousand million. That was last year so much more by now. Incredible.

Jock Stein’s feat in taking Celtic-a team that couldn’t get into the top four in the Scottish league in 1965 to European Champions in 1967 - was sensational .

Screwed over twice really as if Jock hadn't been in charge of Celtic in the 70's think how many trophies the Tornadoes would have won?

They wouldn't have been the Tornadoes though.

Stein's Scorchers doesn't have the same ring to it!

The Sun ( I know ) reporting that Celtic are offering Brendan Rodgers a bumper deal to become there manager and it also says if they lose Kennedy to spurs they will move for Scott brown as his number 2 . Also this on Queens park that seems a bit far fetched .

Ann Budge and Andrew McKinlay - in the Hearts boardroom last week when they were trying to work out where the £45m of donations had gone.

    Yeah im baffled at that

I've seen a few comments about them playing "turgid football"

Did they? I thought they were mostly excellent under Rodgers

I'm baffled as well about it , for me he's definitely the best choice for the job . I thought the football was good when Rodgers at them the last time . Think it's more to do with the way he left tbh . The Celtic fans I've asked over here about " what you think of Rodgers coming back ?" Generally gets met with a response " He can get to ....... Or rat and Judas are quite popular words 😂. Think if he comes in and does well all will be forgiven though first sign of a blip and it probably will turn toxic for him .

Rangers fans ***** would collectively collapse if Rodgers got the Celtic job. He handed them some brutal beatings. For that reason I'm all for it.
