Best they can hope for is a play off place I think. If that's against Dundee, those would be two great games for the telly.

For the neutral that would be fantastic. I work in the city so popcorn out if that happens!

Whatever premier team get the play- off spot I'd fancy them to stay up , the teams in the championship have been of a pretty poor standard this year .

Goodwin hit on the head by a coin as well as being pelted by other assorted missiles.

Football attracts a hell of a lot of f***in morons. Who thinks this is an OK thing to do at a sports event?!

    3 successive goals versus Smeltic

How the **** did that need to go to VAR. Ref was about 8 yards away looking right at it.

You can always rely on The Saints fans for some interesting shouts when there isn't much happening on the pitch.

That Small at LWB for St Mirren has looked pretty good so far.

As for the penalty I thought it was one. Not much Taylor could do but it stops the ball going through for a possible shooting opportunity inside the box.

They were indeed. Had a quick look and they beat Celtic at home 2-0 back in September. Been pumped of Celtic 9-1 over their last two games away to them mind.

That's the game done now though. Dunne red card and Celtic pen.

Surely that’s outside the box and not a penalty? 🤷🏻*♀️

Scratch that, VAR check shows it was outside the box. Free kick.

I couldn’t believe it when a penalty was given. VAR doing its job there for once.

VAR actually working in this game. Just as well because that’s two major sections the ref has got wrong.

It would have been the other way round if it was Rangers.

Even the pundit on Sky didn’t think it was a penalty

As for the ref, he needs demoted to ref in league 2, if he didn’t see that then there is something wrong with his eyesight.

First James McFadden insisting it’s not a penalty and now Andy Walker says the same as well as that the Celtc one should have been a pen

    What chance ye got

If there's still contact when attacker is in the box then it should be a penalty even if the initial contact was outside the box.

    https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct#:~:text=If%20a%20defender%20starts%20ho lding,must%20award%20a%20penalty%20kick.&text=A%20 player%20is%20cautioned%20if,delaying%20the%20rest art%20of%20play

If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick. A player is cautioned if guilty of: delaying the restart of play.

I think he let go before the box. No idea what Walker is watching.

Andy Walker is a useless fud and whilst Boys is a smug prick and will go against the grain when arguing against anything that favours Celtic in this instance he's not wrong.

Whilst the first pen is harsh on Taylor, it's more so on Grieve who at no fault of his own is denied a scoring opportunity as he gets on to the ball if it isn't handled. Again harsh but that's the rules.

The other starts outside the box and Dunne makes an arse of things. But again all contact has stopped before the players is on the line/in the box. It's right but it's a free kick l.

Now with all that there's no way Rangers would be subjected to both those decisions going against them... :D

st mirren scoring so early has ruined the game, they've not been in the slightest interested in adding to it

Just seen this before my reply and don't deny that. I'd need to see it again but I though all contact stopped before he hit the line.

I say all this as someone that needs Celtic to win as the last game on my acca!
