In your opinion. In mine he had a fantastically talented Belgian team and under achieved with them, often whilst playing pretty stodgy football.
What more should he have achieved?

Belgiums 2 big chances were 2016, when he wasn't in charge, and 2018, when they finished 3rd after losing to a better team in France. Players were declining after that, especially hazard.

Can’t help but think Martinez blew it with that group of players though. Kinda like Erickson with England - lots of good players but rarely played like a good team.

No, he's actually a decent manager, still young, who will get more out of those talented Portuguese players than Santos did.
Respectfully disagree. Done OK at Wigan, Everton fans think hes awful, considering the players he had at Belgium they should have at the least played better football, arguably won something. Hes a severely overrated manager because of a decent spell at Wigan.

They were excellent in 2018. Very unlucky with how good France were then. Don't think he blew anything. He never had the best team at any tournament they were in.

Everton finished 5th with 72 points under him. Clearly struggled after that a bit, but never awful.

Done well with Wigan. They've came nowhere near the things he achieved since.

Belgium might've won something with a different manager, but the one before Martinez certainly wasn't doing better than he did.

Really shouldn’t have got rid of Tuchel. Strange decision. But Brighton have moved on well without Potter so it’s worked ok for them so far

    Jack Ross in todays Scotsman

Good article in todays Scotsman on Jack Ross, have to agree with his thoughts on the so called pundits in Scotland. Interesting that he is still in touch with Ron Gordon as well. says he would perhaps now look at being a Director of Football some place rather than a manager.
They do on the odd occasion have a reasonable story.

    It’s a subscription post, so I can’t read it
What does he say about getting back into Football management

Angling for a job as his managerial career has stalled

West Ham fans surely losing patience with Moyes. Rice be gone in the summer, is it worth sticking with him for the rebuild (if they are in the PL).

No chance Klopp gets sacked. Many people at Liverpool should be shown the door way before Klopp! Been let down massively from the owners. So obvious the squad needs invested in.

If Klopp was sacked, there would be riots outside Anfield.
