Gerrard will be in a job again soon. They never go out of work, they just find their level. Probable championship.

Think he knew he’d got lucky last year. Presumably had a chance to make a few quid in the summer and took it.

In the company of two Rangers home & away fans this afternoon, and both are 100% in the Gio must go camp. Seems to be a lot of dissatisfaction with the board also. Doesn’t look like all is well at Ibrox.

Think there are major problems upstairs at Ibrox. Is some American not trying to buy them just now, and Park and Co want their loans back?

Emery to Villa then. Surprised Arsenal let him go, night and day compared to Arteta.

Emery had a decent first season but he was woeful after that. Was nothing surprising about him getting punted. He never had them playing at the level Arteta has this season.

He's a good manager, though, done well elsewhere, far better than Gerrard ever will be.

I think Gerrard dropped lucky getting the Rangers job. Honestly can't see him being successful anywhere else. Well, maybe Celtic where you don't have to be a good manager. Being able to sign better players makes you look good.

I thought Gerrard was just the 'name' at Ibrox, whilst Michael Beale was the guy that did all the coaching??

Seems plausible now as Beale is getting head hunted and sg is punted 😀

I remember after Gerrard left, and someone posted similar - there were odds for Gerry Adams.

Gerrard never pretended to coach. Well known that he looks on the job as being the manager and tells the coaches what he wants to achieve. Like Alex Ferguson in his last 20 years at Manchester.

    Gary Caldwell gets Exeter job
Git a good mate at Exeter who is there home and away and part of the fans group that saved the club. Scared to text him on Caldwell's ability ...

Napoli defeating Der Hun by 6 tomorrow would cost GVB his job. He seems likeable but that's the earned karma when you associate with that ghastly mob.

GVB has already stated results have to improve or he will lose his job . Haven't checked group tables and I'm wondering maybe Napoli are in a position were they can field a weakened team against sevco?

I believe Napoli are going for a club record of 12 consecutive wins so hopefully they are on a full war footing and ready to skelp the huns

Rangers must be absolutley bricking it. Low on confidence knowing that a scudding is likely. Fantastic. Popcorn will be out.
