Watching the managers being interviewed after OF game, Celtic manager in front of sponsor board, Rangers no board, Rangers still playing silly bug..rs re Chinch sponsorship.
They are broke and in the FIFA crosshairs for Financal Fair play misbehavior and yet they won't cooperate with sponsors. Immeasurably stupid conduct.

Yup, Rangers fans wondering why they can't recruit like Celtic. Forget the loans and debts they have to pay back, basket case of a club.

    1 less I think. 6 League, 1 LC & 2 in Europe to our 6 League and 4 LC.

Its a difficult market for them trying to find players who will sign up to their sectarian and bigotted "values".

But **** them. As a Fenian I will take their pain every time. They represent the worst of Scotland. I hate them and their bigotry, and I hope they suffer the consequences.

Congratulations to Hearts on another fantastic defeat. Can't help but be a little bit jealous.

Absolutely disgraceful decision to rule out West Ham's second goal.

    Scandal.

That’s about as bad as a decision gets.

I’m finding it hard to believe quite how much of a pig’s ear they’ve made of VAR in England.

I don’t know how as a ref you can watch that on a screen and think it’s a foul and change your mind. I just don’t understand it.

    VAR has been a failure.

Yep and you can bet on your life that it won't be implemented any better up here either.

If anything they'll find a way to make things even more shambolic than they are in England.

The West Ham and Newcastle goals ruled out by VAR absolutely should have stood.

The disallowed Villa goal, the linesman has made an arse of it, but the whistle went and the City players stopped. If the whistle doesn’t go, Ederson saves Coutinhos shot. Probably.

    It really isn't.

Do you blame the oven if you burn the dinner? Or is that user error?

VAR is run by officials. They are the ones at fault.

VAR places doubt in the referees mind. The individuals make the decisions yes, but the VAR system is making those decisions more difficult.

And the delays it’s causing are ruining the experience as a spectator. Time to end the failed experiment.

You’re factually correct but as some users are incompetent/biased/corrupt or a combination of those, the system is flawed and not worth using. How can you ensure complete objectivity when it’s open to abuse?
As I said in another thread, VAR in the Scottish Premiership will probably become a vehicle for vindicating and consolidating Old Firm bias and dominance. Problems will arise only in Old Firm derbies.

I think VAR is being properly scrutinized in England at the moment because there isn’t any widespread bias towards the big clubs or any football establishment. Certainly down there football media types don’t seem to hold any strong bias to the clubs they were associated with. Up here, VAR will strengthen old firm bias because only certain incidents will be looked at and those decisions will be scrutinized by a media who (most of us agree) have an interest in keeping their mates in the old firm happy.
