They had a bad run at the end of last season. Drew with Ross Co then lost last 3 in the league and then the cup final.

This season, scraped a win against Ross Co. draw with us, win at Dundee Utd then the 3 losses. That makes it 2 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses in the last 11 competitive games.
But, but, but those losses felt like wins. Its the draws that are holding them back.

In the Linfield summary on the BBC website it talks about them missing out on a “£2.4m windfall” for not getting to the group stages.

So is it the usual over inflation of Jambometrics that they say they would have had £5m ? 🤷
Yeah, £5m just seems far too much money simply for qualifying for the group.

So they've droped from €5m to €2.4m? That dive has cost the €€2.6m then?

It wasn't a dive according to Robbie:

"If the defender goes off his feet and goes to ground and doesn't make contact on the ball, the attacker is under no obligation to move out the way," Hearts boss Robbie Neilson told BBC Scotland of the decision to send Grant off.

"My opinion is it's a penalty, but we have to accept it."

Don’t be churlish. They have QUALIFIED for the European equivalent of the B&Q cup.

    hahahaha

    That is marvelous

Not only was it not a clear dive but a definite penalty

    Alternate facts.

    Brilliant isn’t it.

Everyone can see it was a dive and contact was instigate by Grant. He was already going down and stuck his keg out

Robbie deflect yet again also moaning about lack of quality from the bench!

Even after all the money they’ve been given they are still shopping in the same market as us!

I'll bet the teams in group A are relieved Hearts are out as they would have struggled to cope with the intimidating atmosphere of a packed Tynecastle.

Takes a spectacular level of contortionism to get to that denial of his player diving. Is he really that daft or is it something he caught in the Gorgie madhouse?

That’s a really good group of fun away days in big stadia that Hearts have missed out on 😂

They’ve spent the best part of £40 million in donations over and above their normal turnover since administration and they’ve won hee haw and been relegated.

Not in the slightest worried about their extra £5 million.
Not get anywhere near that hence why they are in the same market as us and the dons. I reckon with travel costs taken into account they might clear £2.7m. No doubt good money but they have had that extra for the last five years and hasnt made them much better.

And RFS from Latvia so they might get a point or 2 after all. Fiorentina and Basaksehir already quaking in their boots about facing the tyine atmosphere.

It's undoubtedly good. But it'll be closer to 3 as they will get pumped. The ticket sales will cover travel money probably.

It's the same money as selling one of your better players without having to sell them, like us and Aberdeen have done this summer. Thing is they picked up a suspended player for Sundays game and one injured. The extra games will take there toll. I reckon due to the extra games quite a few teams will finish 3rd then lower the next season due to Europe.

I'm sure us, Aberdeen, Well ect will get a shot in the next few years. Its still a dull one losing a few million for 1 game that you should have won, if only Boyce or forrest didn't miss sitters eh
Watched the game this morning with the mute button on. Their keeper only made one save in the first half and a couple of good blocks. One clear chance and thats it. One penalty in thier last three games two of which were against a poor swiss side. I must be watching a different team from the press as im just not seeing them being anything other than a reasonable team with a very good keeper. They are an injury to gordon away from battling for top six imho.

Getting RFS after that first two is a shame. They’ll get pumped by Istanbul and Fiorentina but after watching the extra time against Linfield last night, they could probably play their reserves and win home and away against RFS. They looked about Scottish League 2 standard.

Having been to Florence and Riga previously, if that was Hibs I'd be slightly disappointed with that draw. Still decent away trips though.

He's there as the expert on Ayr Utd, gets asked about their new striker and clearly hasn't a clue who the boy is.

Lazio inter tonight should be a good game, personally thought Italian league was really good to watch last season and super competitive, hopefully more of the same.
