Djokovic is so good. Hard to like sometimes but a stick-on for the title, I'd say.
Hard to like all the time!! But an incredible tennis player

Alcaraz through to play Sinner, winner of this to play Novak in quarters

    Carlos for the title !

Only 8 unforced errors in his match against a guy who reached the last 2 grass court semi finals

  4. #153
Alcaraz and Sinner both through in straight sets.

  5. #154
Going to be an early night for the tennis tonight, Norrie-Johnson is the last singles match still to reach a conclusion and Norrie's just gone two sets ahead.

Tommy Paul up next on Sunday in the last 16.

    Top half of the men's last 16 draw;

Novak Djokovic v Tim Van Rijthoven
    Jannik Sinner v Carlos Alcaraz

    I have to disagree.

Djokovic has a decent case for being the best returner of all time. And as much as I’d like to see big John win the tournament, I really can’t see it.
Well Isners gone. He served 50% in the first set and then never really got going. He just looked off, as someone said, perhaps an injury. Really he's one dimensional and when his serve is on he can back it up with decent, if limited volley play etc, he's all about the serve.

Katie Boulter hammered in straight sets by Harmony Tan, 6-1 6-1.

  11. #160
Alex De Minaur wins the opening set v Liam Broady.

    2-2 second set.

  12. #161
Cristian Garin wins in 4 sets v Jenson Brooksby.

He'll play the winner of De Minaur-Broady and it's looking like it will be De Minaur as he has just gone two sets up.

  13. #162
Botic Van De Zandschulp wins in 4 sets v Richard Gasquet.

Always enjoyed watching Gasquet at Wimbledon. Good on grass and one of the best backhands in the game.

  14. #163
Brandon Nakashima wins in straight sets v Daniel Elahi Galan Riveros.

  15. #164
Jason Kubler wins in 5 sets v Jack Sock after 4 hours 19 minutes.

  16. #165
Alex De Minaur beats Liam Broady in straight sets.

  17. #166
Taylor Fritz wins in straight sets v Alex Molcan.

Iga Swiatek struggling a bit v grass court specialist Cornet.
Lost first set but can still win this
    Go Iga

  19. #168
Swiatek well beaten and the 37 match winning run is over.

Cornet wins in straight sets 6-4 6-2.

Aye she was. Didn’t expect her to get very far, as I said after the French Open. She will have to get some serious practice on grass courts.

Potential match of the tournament on now - Tsitsipas v Kyrgios.

    Could be a cracker.

  22. #171
Great serve through the legs by Kyrgios. 🤣🤣

    He's certainly unique!

  23. #172
    First set to Tsitsipas 7-6.

Kyrgios has been rather vocal to say the least.

Kyrgios is great to watch. Utterly crackers, playing at 1000mph and that service game to 5-4 up was insane 😂

He's now just being a dick.

  28. #177
Tsitsipas should be defaulted for that.

    Very lucky boy.

How did Tsisipas get away with firing the ball into the crowd? I do wish Kyrgios would shut up though, he'll end up getting dq'd.

He is but Kyrgios probably should have been binned before that. He's a poor man's McEnroe when it comes to moaning.

Kyrgios has taken his comments too far (once again!) but the main point he's making is spot on.
