Crispin must have taken some advice and removed his support for the convicted sexual predator. I keep double taking and checking things that the tories say and do nowadays as I keep thinking ‘even they can’t be this repulsive’ but it seems they are.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Interesting the word conservative is missing from that headline when they were quite happy to use former SNP MP in the Mcgarry story

Yes, they won't resign. Fined for breaking their own laws, but not even that will matter.

Boris Johnson must resign. He broke the law and repeatedly lied to parliament about it. The basic values of integrity and decency - essential to the proper working of any parliamentary democracy - demand that he go. And he should take his out of touch chancellor with him.

It's pretty straightforward now. If the UK as a country has any remaining sense of democracy, morals or fairness in society then Johnson needs to go. He partied while thousands died and then straight up lied to parliament about it. If he survives this Britain is no more a free and fair society than Hungary, China or even Russia.

In case people didn't want to watch the video a few posts above, here's Johnson's words in Parliament talking about the leaking of the video of Stratton and others laughing about how to manage the news that there had been parties in No10 during lockdown. A reminder that Stratton resigned - not because she'd attended, but because she was seen to have been joking about it.

Tory MPs already saying that while he 'misled' parliament and broke the law, now is not the time to resign, Ukraine, blah, blah.

Absolute wallopers. As is every Tory voter who defends this. Hopefully, the sane ones on here won't but nothing would surprise me.

They must have pictures from the security system, which was installed by a Moscow based company.

A Russian backed PM undone by Russian technology.

He has to resign not just as PM but as an MP.

If he lies so easily over something like a booze-up what else is he lying about?

He doesn't know the difference between lying and the truth. Seems astonishing that Moscow company would be setting up the Downing Street security system.

He won't resign, he's never resigned from a job in his life. How many jobs has he had the sack for lying from? I can remember 2 off the top of my head.

Sadly I think Boris will survive. Which would be an absolute disgrace. If he does then put democracy is in real trouble.

They didn't. The Moscow-based company was a TV company and they set up the stupid 2.6 million waste of a TV briefing room. Nothing to do with security

He's been helped by the met big time. Covid has been about forgotten about in mainstream England since the end of January. Also waited for him to help Ukraine. If he was fined months ago like he should, the backbenchers would want him out too.

He has to resign or be sacked, but unsure if it would be better if he stays. The next in line would go on about change and new regime, but surely if he stays this stink will stick until the next election

Douglas Ross saying it would be the wrong time to oust him.

He did. But he is a spineless bawbag with more faces than a town clock. Standard Tory really.
