Most of these refugees will likely return to the Ukraine before they pay any kind of taxes into the German system. They've fled Ukraine for their lives, not to make a new one in sunlit uplands. Until then they have to be fed, clothed and accommodated.

The EU has opened it's doors to all of them, the UK has said you can come, but only once you've climbed this greasy pole using only one arm.

I read an article in ny Times saying whether it's Syrians, Albanians or Bangladeshis fleeing war, the vast majority stay. The longer it goes on the higher the % and the younger they are the higher likelihood. Hopefully it end soon so the can return and their city isn't destroyed.

Uk finds it hard to change the system because its set up not to let immigrants in. They should let all immigrants I , we are a aging nation and pensions don't pay themselves.

Sadly the state pension, which I’ve paid in to for 22 years, will be a thing of the past by the time I reach State Pension Age. It’ll be yet another thing stolen by the Conservatives.

Already is one of the worst in Europe. Everyone should pay what they can into a private pension unfortunately

The average age in UK is less than nearly all EU states.

We probably shouldn't have one of the worst state pensions then. I knew Japan was in trouble as they are worried about it, Germany and Italy toiling to according to that.

If that's the case, that's their problem and doesn't mean our situation is manageable. Scotland in particular needs more immigrants. I'm surprised that Tories don't support that - unless they actually relish our supposed defecit they keep banging on about.

After (sort of) defending Mrs Sunak of her absolute right to legally pay as little tax as possible to the country that supplies her with the house she lives in i now find out that she was part owner of Lava Mayfair Club Ltd (a private membership Gym), which collapsed last year owing almost £44million to creditors, including £374,000 to HMRC.
Another venture, education firm Mrs Wordsmith, went into administration last year owing £16.3million – after receiving a £1.3million loan from the Government's Future Fund.
IT GETS WORSE ... Digme Fitness which she owns 100% of received up to £635,000 of furlough money before it closed its eight studios in London and Oxford still owing HMRC £415,000.

So .... Mr Sunak introduces the furlough scheme ... and the woman he's sleeping with benefits by up to £635,000.
Mr Sunak oversees the rules regarding non-Dom status ... and the woman he's sleeping with benefits by over £20 million
Mr Sunak is supposed to be in charge of ensuring that the UK maximises its tax take ... yet the woman he's sleeping with has overseen companies going bust owing £789,000 to HMRC
Mr Sunak says his wife's tax affairs are none of our business !!

The kind of criticism that Tory MPs have been lining up to describe as "unpleasant". Charles Walker was on the radio pointing out that some of these reports have described the big dwarf's squeeze as "Murty" rather than "Mrs Sunak" but what they want us to understand by "unpleasant" is "racist". FFS.

Deflection deflection deflection. It’s all they do.

I never thought I’d look back fondly on Theresa May. But she seems a pillar of responsibility compared to this gang of thieves, that still have lots of public support, bizarrely.

There is not much that leaves me slack jawed nowadays but his performance at the Grenfell Tower inquiry was shocking. First telling them he was busy and had moved stuff around to be there and to use their time with him carefully, which after the next recess he had to come back and apologise for, then mixing the number of dead up with the Hillsborough dead and calling them nameless?!!? When every person who died in Grenfell is known. His apologies were written for him and were insincere, he is an odious man, he is entitled and as you say arrogant beyond belief.

NEW: Suspended MP Imran Ahmad Khan found guilty of sexually assaulting 15-year-old boy in 2008.

A by-election is now expected in marginal seat Wakefield, which Tories took from Labour in 2019 collapse of 'red wall' with majority of 3,358.

It's fake. But she is ‘Minister for Culture’ who didn’t know how C4 was funded but still wants to privatise it
