Has anyone scored a hat trick at ER against them since? I know Joe Harper's credited with a hat trick in LC final but those of us who were there know it was 2 at most. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

1990 An Alex Miller masterclass as HIBS defeat Graeme Souness’ expensively assembled Rangers 1-0 at Ibrox thanks to a Keith Houchen 60th minute strike
HIBS started with Keith Houchen and new signing from QPR Paul Wright upfront and they always looked dangerous
Unfortunately Wright’s HIBS career would be ended one week later after a horrendous tackle from Neil Berry in the Edinburgh Derby

On This Day In History
2022 John Sloop Blackley is inducted into the Hibernian Football Club Hall Of Fame
2017 A huge weight is lifted from the shoulders of Hibernian Football Club as super sub James Keatings provides an assist for Efe Ambroses’ first goal for the club and scores the winner in 90+2 with a Messiesque finish from his weaker right foot to secure a 2-1 victory over Falkirk leaving HIBS ten points clear at the top of the Championship
James Keatings would win the Scottish Championship with Hearts and HIBS
1980 George Best returned to the club after an absence sparked by his drinking session with the French Rugby Union side and shows what he can really do scoring a wonder goal that Dundee goalkeeper Ally Donaldson described as being similar to this famous undernoted goal for San Jose and laying on the second for Willie Murray in a 2-0 win
https://youtu.be/o8wGN5uDaVg
1933 Hibs continue their pursuit of the Second Division Championship with a 4-1 win over local rivals St Bernard’s with a hat-trick from James Hart and a goal from ex Celt Paddy Connolly
Hibs finished the season with a record number of points ( 60 ) but had points deducted as Bo’ness and Armadale had withdrawn from the League
To celebrate their promotion to the First Division HIBS held a Hibernian Championship Supper at the Palais De Dance Fountainbridge

I was at the 8-1 Airdrie game and collected autographs after the game .I just had a look and I’ve got a full page of Airdrie players. I think they were just grateful that anyone wanted them!

1998 Alex Miller brought his Dons side to Easter Road and hammered another nail into our relegation coffin as his team returned north with a point
Eoin Jess gave Aberdeen the lead with a superb free-kick HIBS were handed a lifeline when Tony Rougier converted a late penalty kick
https://youtu.be/H7T7VtEewyo
1979 Just over 16000 fans attended Tynecastle for what was supposed to be the New Years Derby which had been postponed due to bad weather
Super Ally MacLeod gave HIBS the lead after six minutes Willie Gibson equalised for Hearts ten minutes later Ralph Callachan scored the winner just before the break against his old club when his cross- come- shot entered the Hearts net at the far post
It finished 2-1 to HIBS

Even with 38000 in the ground the shed is half empty !
IIRC this was an all ticket game after the shambles of the 48000 at a previous Celtic match. Hundreds paid at the gate at this game
and couldn't get to the terracing, me included.

By the time they cordoned the Cave off ,put benches in and increased prices ..the Cave was rarely full once that happened.
i had by then drifted to main terracing and sometimes North Enclosure.(older bams there than in the old Cave !)
The match in question...
There was a bit of battling that day,(not unusual back then) but not sure thats the reason for gaps in the Cave.
It was a significant match for oldco,so a lot of Hibby's might have just given it a miss that day.
