To be fair who isn't beating St Johnstone this season? Even we can beat them!
Aided by a red card when we were 1-0 down in Perth and had the benefit of an extremely dubious penalty in the 1-0 win at Easter Road. Hardly convincing in either game.

We would have lost both games against them last season.

In that case I hope it's not moved.

I quite fancied going up on the train.
As did I and assuming it's on the Saturday, the fare is coming in at £51.00 RTN. At that price, I won't be now.

From where? An off-peak return from Edinburgh to Arbroath is £42.50.

The trick is to buy a cheap day return from Edinburgh to Leuchars then a day return from Leuchars to Arbroath. Comes in at £33.80. Even cheaper if you have any of the valid railcards.

Does anyone know roughly when they announce KO days / times of the Scottish Cup games from previous times?

I was having a look from Glasgow and would’ve expected there to be some advance tickets available but there doesn’t seem to be. Have they stopped selling them at the moment?

The hope is that it will be announced in the next few days, tv games were decided fairly quick after the draw for the previous rounds iirc.

Personally thought we were very good in the game in Perth. Two good goals wrongly chopped off.

Cant answer the advance ticket question, sorry.

Ok so what you should do is buy an off peak day return from Glasgow Queen Street to Perth at £17.60, then buy an off peak day return from Perth to Arbroath at £15.20 and that brings your total down to £32.80.
On a Saturday and Sunday off peak day returns are valid all day, there are no peak time restrictions at weekends.

It came up at £25.50 per single EW on Scotrail's website. I never seen an option for a return, or perhaps I missed it.

EDIT: Just seen the £42.50rtn at bottom of the page.

You have to select return and pick an out and return date.

Split the journey using the day returns like I posted and you'll get it at that price..

The Trainline app offers you the split ticket price if it's lower than the standard fare.

played them off the park, as you say 2 goals chopped off for some reason and we hit the post and the bar as well? Best we've played in a long time.

How many goals did we have chopped off against St Js last time out?

Posts on the other thread on the exact same topic - it was 2 (noone knows why) plus hit the bar and the post. Totally outplayed them and to use the man being sent off (correctly) as a reason for it is similar to the "we only finished 3rd because Aberdeen didn't score enough goals" argument.

What about the goal miles onside, not given for us, after 5 minutes in Perth? We never go 1-0 down if we go 1-0 up.

Surprised we've not heard about the TV games yet, tickets will surely be on sale early next week as well you'd think.

In light of that announcement a few things come to mind.

    - No trains between Dundee and Arbroath which will impact the crowd.

    - Live on the BBC which will impact the crowd

    - 12:30 on a Sunday which will impact the crowd

    - Ticket prices should be decent though
