everything that was said by him in the commons today was about protecting his personal liability. Its constructing a legal defence. That is always the cas e to some extent in the HoC but today felt more like a cross examination with the accused occasionally straying from 'no Comment' or 'I wish to exercise my rights under the 5th amendment'...The whole thing was an insult to democracy but compelling viewing all the same.
