So am I correct in the assumption that the following is now the proposed priority order for getting Cup Final Tickets?

    1. Season Ticket holder that is also in the AST scheme
    2. Gold Area Season Ticket holder
    3. Silver Area Season Ticket Holder
    4. Bronze Area Season Ticket Holder
    5. AST scheme members that don't have a Home ST
    6. Child Season Ticket Holder (East, West or FF Upper)
    7. Went to Dingwall last week
    8. Attend ER fairly regularly as Walk-Ups
    9. Attended Semi Final v Rangers
    10. Child Season Ticket Holder (FF Lower)
    11. Used to have a Season Ticket but don't get out so much due to age/infirmity/location
    12. Have an overseas TV subscription
    13. Have bought something from the Club Shop.

    Did I miss any out?

I know it’s getting silly now. Watching hibs on the tele from another country shouldn’t entitle you to anything in a cup final. You’re that committed to hibs you’ve left the country. The tv subscription probably just covers the cost of putting the games on.

Don’t think you can be an AST holder without a home ST… apart from that though looks perfect to me.

Agree Hibs have information on the database so could ask overseas fans with your credentials by email to reply if they would be wanting a ticket for the final, based on this tickets can be held back as they are doing for the hospitality packages. Not rocket science.
Why? They don’t even live in this country, how many games a season do overseas fans get to? But they somehow think they’re entitled to get a jump in the queue ahead of a walk up fans who attends a few games a year. I’ve never heard anything so preposterous.

    LOL, brilliant

Another way to look at that is circumstances have taken you away from hibs but you still chose to put in 180quid per year minimum

And for your £180 you get to watch every home game and lots of away games on your tv, at no point should this cross over into priority for physically attending matches. It’s a tv subscription, the same as having a sky sports subscription, it entitles the subscribers to watch the games on whatever device they choose.

I know of a Celtic fan that has bought tickets in section C1 which surely suggests that we won’t be getting any more tickets?

If you want us to stop watching then that's £180 less to go to the next years wages.

Get real man if you are offered a good job abroad are you going to turn it down. I think Hibs would not be high up on anyones decision making. Not the same as a sky subscription money goes directly into the club.

Yes. Those that didn't get a ticket in the 1st home game of the season (Ross County) ballot. Should be at the top of the list.

God,this list is going to be soooooo long

Correct, but the consequences are that I wouldn’t be able to watch the hibs every week. The money goes directly to the club but they have to use that money to televise the games, the same way sky do.

Exactly. I wonder how much the average Hibs fan would have to fork out for a semi and final compared to the average Celtic fan.
Almost all Hibs fans within 45 miles of Hampden, largest bulk of Celtic fans with 5 miles of Hampden, but thousands travelling from all over Scotland, and Ireland, doubt we spend more on average to be honest, we certainly spend a lot less on average for home games.

I didn’t say I wanted you to stop watching, do what you like. You can’t seriously be suggesting you should get priority over someone who attends maybe half of all home games? It’s a ridiculous suggestion, does someone who has 3 kids and buys them all the full strip have a case for a ticket because they spend £200 a season in the club shop.

We'll have sold out by close of play on Wednesday.

Hope Hibs put something out basically telling Doncaster to GTF when we do.

Personal view guys who stay abroad and put money in the club and regularly watch the team should definitely get some sort of priority for the bigger games if they are able to attend. Just seems the right thing to do for what is likely to be a relatively small number of people.

I'm suggesting that people who have paid half a season tickets price for Hibs TV (180 quid) should in all fairness have dibs on one (1) ticket for the Cup final. Simple.

I have often pondered moving up north or to one of the Isles. Hibs are usually what stops me. If I got offered a job abroad they would be very near the top of my priorities - Wife and kids first and Hibs next.

We all have different ways of looking at supporting a team but to me when we are dealing with priority to attend a football game it should be how many games you have attended that decides who gets first dibs. Nothing else really matters when it comes to ticketing priority imo. It is taking the time to physically support your team. Yes, it would be unfair to some who go to every game they can afford or on every holiday they take but that is the margins and they would still be ahead of anyone who had went to less games in my book. That doesn't mean one supporter is better than the other but it is the best method to prioritise tickets imo.

As has been said the biggest problem here is that we have fewer tickets than we should have and that is making the situation worse than it could have been without a biased and corrupt League.

Sums it up perfectly. It will cost a lot of money to travel from abroad so that shows commitment. The club could sell a bond say for £100 to overseas fans which guarantees a level of priority before general sale. Gets some money into the club.
