Thread: Jack Ross

    Jack Ross

    My manager.

Unbelievable result and performance with us looking so so organised all over the pitch.

Starting Campbell was a huge call and risk but he got it spot on and deserves enormous credit for that.

Now is this classed as a big game?😅

His records in cups is fantastic.

He's going to have bad results but you know what he's going to have results like today.

Can't keep sacking managers after a bad few runs, might not be tony Mowbray football at Hibs, but he's the man for the job.

    That’s a big game right?

Delighted for him. We were tremendous from start to finish and our manager deserves full credit for that. He's now won 2 of his last 3 games at Hampden. Hopefully he can make it 3/4 just before Christmas.

A big result and as importantly, and impressively, a big performance. At a time he needed one. So fair play to Ross for pulling that out of the bag.

Heard today that’s now 46 wins in 91 games as manager for Hibs

As far as Hibs go that’s a very very good record and will be higher than most.

Add in our first 3rd place finish in 16 years, two finals and two semi finals in just two years and I think it’s fair to say he’s doing well.

Yes we get frustrated about performances or results but that the level we’re at - but he is raising it considerably.

He is getting us to big games and occasions frequently.

I’ve no doubt he’ll get us back up the league.

I also think he attracts good players and makes Hibs a place players want to come - especially young ones. It’s now time to add some experienced quality to take us to the next level.

Beating rangers at hampden is no big achievement, pretty standard now.

    👍🏻

Well done jack. Loved seeing the emotion at the end. Keep it coming.

Felt brilliantly for him at the end thoroughly deserved. Think we need to start appreciating him a bit more.

You could see in his post match how much he enjoyed it. I think he felt the pressure from the stands. Now, play with that intensity and desire to win in every game and he’ll win the doubters wrong

Well done Jack. That gets rid of a few demons and it shows what can be done with a hard working team with a bit of quality. We worked so hard in that game and perhaps the small squad just needed a rest. Could be an even better season than last if we win out games in hand and keep a run going

Everyone’s stopped calling him ‘Ross’ tonight - he must have done something special 😉

Well done to him - it’s not all that easy to beat teams with much bigger resources but I’ve never felt we’ve shied away from either of The Old Firm in recent times … it’s just that they’re pretty hard to beat. In fact we’ve been pretty unlucky against this lot the last 4/5 games which suggests he knows what’s he’s doing.

Brilliant result impressed with how hard all the players fought throughout the game.. including Lewis when he came on. Jack really motivated the team well.
"At the end of the day, we all aspire to bigger things in our lives but one thing I can truly say from my heart is if I never kick a ball for one of these bigger clubs I would be delighted to stay with Hibs for the rest of my career. That's how highly I regard this club." Ivan Sproule

Superb today. Tactics and team selection were absolutely spot on.

We looked like a different beast from the get go and were fired up. The performance we’ve all been waiting on at Hampden

Let’s use this as a driving force to get our league campaign back on track

Happy for him tonight. He has taken a lot of stick over the past few weeks, some maybe justified but a most of it way over the top. He set the team up brilliantly today and the players delivered. Great stuff all round.

Delighted for him. He deserves that and it was an important one just at a time where doubts were creeping in. It was also great for doidge etc and some of the others that haven't played for us at a hampden with fans.

Loved his reaction to the 3rd goal.

Raised a first to the Hibs support.

Watched him closely on the touchline today. Gets stick for not showing enough passion etc but trust me it was there today. His first win over one of the old firm? Well deserved. Bring home the cup, Jack.
