Schools back this week in England/Wales as well I think - what could possibly go wrong?
I'm guessing it'll go the same way as up here and any debate about extension of furlough or reintroduction of restrictions will have to wait until there's pressure on the UK government.

Yet. We'll see if that changes in the next few weeks if the expected spike in cases materialises. BTW, nightclubs in NI are still closed and folk thought we had it bad here

As much as this may only apply to the English part of your argument - do we really expect Boris Johnson to warn people that restrictions returning remains a potential possibility?

Or is her more likely to continue enjoying his slight increase in popularity because people are back in night clubs, and then slap-in restrictions at the last minute.

Nsw premier says it looks like it's impossible to stop delta spreading even with full lockdown. There were 1116 cases in new South Wales yesterday even after months of stay at home lockdown. Perhaps scot gov knows your just pissing in the wind, once it's as widespread as it is now

It's amazing how many men in work vans seem unable or unwilling to put a mask on when in a shop.

Case growth thankfully dropping quite fast, if it continues cases should fall next week. A record 57,000 tests yesterday but test positivity not changed from last week, so more testing picking up more cases. Starting to look similar to the euros spike

i think they maybe just used those four club "Stalwarts" for the sake of a publicity photo shoot, i'm sure at least several more have been vaccinated

more interestingly i'd like to know why we still get a 'page not found' when clicking on that NHS link to the story

Vaccine certification to be used in Scotland for entry to:

    ▪️nightclubs
▪️indoor live events with 500+ people unseated
▪️outdoor live events with 4000+ people unseated
    ▪️any event with 10,000+ people

Subject to debate and vote at Holyrood next week
    Less talk, more gifs. 21.05.16

  17. #51046
    Increase of cases extremely concerning.

  18. #51047
Hopeful we can turn the corner without imposing any restrictions.

    Next few days are crucial.

  19. #51048
13% of cases ended up in hospital pre-vaccine, now it is 2-3%.

  20. #51049
Cannot rule out restrictions but do not want to apply them.

Wonder if josh Taylor will need vaccinated to fight at the hydro at the end of the year 😆

Vaccine certification to commence in a limited number of settings subject to parliament approval.

  23. #51052
    Nightclubs and adult entertainment venues
Indoor live events with 500+ people unseated
Outdoor live events with 4000+ people unseated
    Any event with 10,000+ people

Not deemed appropriate at this stage to introduce certification in other hospitality venues.

That's means it's 100%, they can debate it all they want but the SNP and Greens have the numbers so it's a done deal

About time as well. That should help with vaccine numbers.

It’s also Tory policy in England so it should be a certainty.

He won’t be getting it cos he’s tough and hard so he’ll actually just knock the virus out.

Is this a digital vaccine certificate you mean? Surely it’s not still just to become available, there should have been a date for this ages ago, and even more so now if they want to start using vaccine certificates.

Think Sturgeon said it would be available from/after Friday.
