Lions tactics, forward x 4 with zero gain, then punt, SA tactics ball in hand pass it out wide and gain 30 yards, Gatland is ****ing hopeless, didn't work last week and not doing so again this week.

Russell comes on and suddenly the Lions burst into life and start passing the ball around.

Superb, got to make it count when you kick to the corner instead of kicking for the posts.

they're absolutely horrible. they might be world champs but it's dog **** anti rugby.

the standard of refereeing in these three tests has been grim.

ref today made it all about him. **** for both sides. horrible to watch.

    it is indeed

    series ruined by 3 things

    1. abysmal refereeing
    2 lions tactics
3 south Africa's nonsense with the refs

Lots of things that could have been done differently, but one of this year’s form players was Hamish Watson and he had minimal test time, who knows if he would have made the difference if given a chance.

Not exactly flowing rugby, as you would probably expect a Lions Boks series plays out as a total physical war. A few lads spilt some claret today. Maybe not a great spectacle for rugby purists but tough tough matches.

That particular "style" of rugby union does absolutely nothing for me at all. All 3 tests have been much the same , forward dominated, a lack of continuity of play and over fussy officials. It all adds up to sheer boredom.

The ref was the star. That's not good.
How did rugby come to this? Lengthy examination of every important event in the match. Is it that vital?

3 tests, 3 poor refs, boring rugby in general, Gatland's tactics ruined the Lions chances and his reliance on picking his favourite players instead of in form players like Russell who changed the game when he came on today, ruined it for me.

Thought Finn was brilliant and totally changed the flow of the game. Butchered a couple of try's in the first half. Second half was pretty grim to be fair.

You can sort of understand it in football with the big bucks that are at stake. But rugby?

although according to the guardian article this morning it’s his job in 2025 if he wants it.

Yes saw that too. Please no! Mind-numbingly dull rugby. Can’t argue with his record as Wales coach but for someone who’s been lauded as the best Lions coach ever he’s only actually won one series out of 3, and that was against a not exactly vintage Aussie team. Very fortunate to draw the series in NZ and blew it against SA this time.

Delighted to see Musselburgh top of the Premiership

Does anyone actually care about the Super 6 games? With the revised team names and such few teams I cant see the appeal (I know why it was created but cant see how it could excite a normal punter)..

    NRL coming to a conclusion.

South's v Manly on Friday, followed by Melbourne v Penrith on Saturday.

    Love the Aussie RL

Penrith beat Melbourne 10-6 in a brilliant, high intensity game.

Meet South's in the grand final.
