Messi did play against us at Murrayfield

I remember him tormenting a young Paul Hanlon.

Apart from Messi that Barcelona team included some top quality players.

They were great to watch even although they thumped us 6-0.

Think Messi will be the only one playing for Barcelona that night still currently playing.

If we get through next Thursday there will have to be rotation or some players will tail off in performance or pick up injuries. We seem well covered in midfield and hopefully daz gets a run out but rb and striker we don’t have a lot of options.

We need another centre half. I have every faith in Daz filling in as he's still quality but if Porto or Hanlon get injured then I think it's going to be a big ask for him to be playing twice a week when the games start coming thick and fast.

I really do think we are a couple of players away from having a really good squad. I agreed we need another CH but if we can get Cadden fit, he’d would hopefully slot in at RB. .However we can’t wait forever for him to be fit!

That aside this does depend on who stays or goes during the transfer window.

If we do lose players I’d prefer it to be sooner rather than later to allow replacements to be found. We may end up keeping the squad together for another season and add more quality making us even stronger!

That aside this does depend on who stays or goes during the transfer window.
