Two years ago Hajduk Split were eliminated by Gzira (0:2 - 1:3), and headlines in local newspapers in Split a day or two before rematch were screaming something like

" more likely you'll see Martians , than Hajduk gets defeated by Gzira ".

So, Gzira boys were refering to that particular game in the eve of rematch with Rijeka.

But, unlike Hajduk 2 ys ago, we left them no room for surprise.

As you can see from their preformance last night, a strong Martian minority exists in Dalmatia...
I have two Croatian scent hounds but they are big Hibees.

Whole yesterday's game against Gzira can still be seen on offical club web:

    https://nk-rijeka.hr/rijeka-tv/

What to say, more-less routine win although Gzira United are not complete badgers.

We played again with 3 central defenders, and we had a chance to see first time Abass, attacker on loan from Mainz.

Best player was again midfielder Pavicic.

Thanks for posting info and updates Rijeka fan.

I see it's around 30c in Rijeka at the moment. I take it that's about normal for this time of year there, definitely a big advantage for you. Hoping for a midnight kick off.... See it's 7pm, so I guess that's 8pm Rijeka. Hopefully cooled down a bit.

While we have you and we are still on speaking terms 😂……

Do you know anything about this guy?

    https://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/article/new-strategic-partnership-to-assist-player-recruitment-processes

Ivan Kepcija to save you opening the link. Hibs working with him to recruit new players. Seems to have a good CV.

  11. #190
Ivan Kepčija was a sport director of Hajduk Split, our biggest rival, some two years ago.

He did not keep a job for long, but it does not mean that he is a failure, in Split they are changing staff every 6 months or so.

However, in Hajduk people are not satisfied with his incoming transfers. They are trying to get rit of his players at the moment.

I also know that before Split he worked for Legia Warszawa.

    Nothing more.

Breidablik/Aberdeen game on Premier Sports. Wonder if they'll be showing the 2nd leg of our tie.

Shocking. How are Rangers getting about 50% capacity for tomorrow, with higher rates in Glasgow and Lanarkshire than Edinburgh, and yet we get less than 25%

    Pretty sure we’ll get more.

Notice you can apply individually or as part of a group. So if your part of a group is it a case of everyone or nobody getting a ticket?

Anyone want to continue to fight that corner that these restrictions make any sense?

4,700 for Thursday, 4 days before there’s meant to be no restrictions on capacity.

    Absolute disgrace from Edinburgh council
    It’s a minimum of 4,700

I logged onto my computer ready to go really radge and throw a proper wobbly but they’re just starting to sell the minimum they know they’ll be allowed to sell.

When Edinburgh council let us know our final total allowed, probably around Thursday lunch time, more will likely go on sale.

Read before you start shooting. We are doing what we did for the last round except we are initially selling 4700 instead of 2000

"We are hopeful of getting an exemption for a larger capacity early next week and will inform fans on whether our application has been successful on Monday evening. We thank the City of Edinburgh Council for their support thus far.
Until we discover our 'final' capacity, we will proceed to allocate the 4,700 seats that we know are already approved for the visit of HNK Rijeka"

Deleted my post, need to learn to read 1st.

However I’ve already entered the ballot that’s not supposed to open until 4

You could get angry at the prices given the money we have given for nothing in return,
No need to pump us for £23. £20 would have been plenty.

Aye thought they might’ve kept it the same as the previous round to be honest but is what it is. As long as it’s worth the extra £3
