Whilst extremely happy that England have lost on penalties, we should compliment them on getting so far. They've got some great players and will get better.

The 2 players brought on late on to take penalties both missed but I do feel for the English team. Media and fans aside they are a great team. Better team won but for the English it’s been a great tournament. That’s just the Italians and the Scottish they couldn’t beat.

Agree with this…like a lot of matches with England I start quite ambivalent about who wins but after two hours of English commentary am quite glad to see the opposition win. It's their own stupid fault. Just do a normal penalty with a normal run up, none of those stupid little short steps and little pauses to try and fool the keeper. Pick a corner, left or right and concentrate on hitting it, just like Kane did. Take a leaf out of Scotland's book. 100% record in competitive penalty shoot outs, 10 penalties taken, 10 scored and not a single silly run up.
