Clubs worried perhaps re massive rise in infections and perhaps a reversal of opening up. Low capacity crowds until all adults vaccinated?

Just waiting for that club statement, Jack Ross is happy with the current squad 🙄

Must admit I’m a bit concerned there isn’t a little bit more activity in terms of a few going and few rumours

    Quiet

There is activity. It's a good thing that we don't know about it.

Totally. The way we operate over the last few windows, there are no leaks or advance news over who we are after. It makes transfer threads like this a little dull, but I'm all for it.

Yes and I actually like when it just comes out the blue. It’s probably beneficial to some posters health too.

Reading the bbc gossip thing celtic are interested in so many random players, going to take months to piece together a team... rangers on the other hand might lose players... morelos, kent and kamara.

hee haw on hibs players in or out today...
The difference between the two is the Rangers players who might leave all have 2 years left on their contracts and the Celtic ones have a year or less.
Celtic must be praying every night for an English club that wants to pay big money for their stars despite the weak bargaining position.
Rangers title as soon as Celtic lose their 2 star players.

Don't need to rush. We just need a few bits of quality, can afford to take our time with it.

Agree JDH and Daniel Mackay came out the blue I didn't see any prior links until they were getting medicals. Hakeen Odoffin link is likely to have been leaked by Hamilton to try to increase potential fee they can get for him.

People going will only happen if someone else wants them. Will take time.

The Rangers need cash as well… one of their directors said they needed £20m to balance the books this summer.

If Morelos was actually attracting bids close to their supposed ‘valuation’, he’d be off like a shot.

Knowing their luck, they will get into the CL group stage and get the money that way.

Can’t see us investing in any further players until those who are not staying are moved on.

Why’s that? Sure we were/are prepared to invest in both McCart & Odoffin

I think I'd be more concerned about the lack of rumours regarding transfers in if there had been any concrete activity regarding departures or even strong rumours.

As it stands our squad is pretty strong and doesn't need much more than a few tweaks.

That gets blown apart if a couple of our more important players leave, as it has been rumoured that they will.

Their long runs in Europe the last 2 years saved their ass.

As for Morelos it will be a new contract or a sale.
It's been strange seeing them wasting money on a contract for Defoe if they are cash strapped although he may be Morelos mentor. Other than the incident with Porteous last season he appears to have reigned his madness in and the red card tap has been turned off.

Kent is their guy with the x factor. They couldn't replace him and is the one English teams could come hunting for with big bags of money.
They could easily get £15 million for him alone which would put a big dent in their debt but could risk the European performances.

Was surprised when they managed to land him on a perm as he clearly had ability to change games. I’ll also be surprised if someone down south doesn’t bid for him as he could clearly do a good job there for a lot of teams.

I think Kent is their best player as well, by some distance, and I was surprised they managed to get him. I do reckon the deal they struck with Liverpool to get him in the first place will be riddled with clauses though, so I'd expect much of any profit to find it's way back there.

It was fashionable a while back to point out stats relating to Kent's end product, stats which at the time weren't brilliant. He's the one that pulls defences all over the place though, getting defenders into the wrong positions so other players can capitalise and get the more impressive stats.

He'd be a huge loss to them, so I'd love it if they were to lose him.

    Great player to watch.
He found a consistently high performance level last season and that's what big teams are looking for before they spend the big bucks.
Liverpool tagged lots of extras onto the sale so will no doubt take a big chunk of any profit on resale.

If we reach the group stages of the Conference League we're guaranteed 3 million euros/£2,5million with 5 days of transfer window left.

    After that it's 500,000 euros/£425,000 for a group stage win, 166,000 euros/£142,000 for a draw.

I seem to recollect they recently have a share issue? If so, does anyone know how it went and was it to raise capital?
