It's been a great tournament with some cracking games.
We are down to the last four with all of the teams left having a chance of lifting the trophy.
Personally I like this England team and I like Southgate as a human being so I can live with them winning it.
If I had to pick I have a wee sneaky for Spain especially if one of the strikers hits form at the right time.
Looking forward to the last wee bit of what has been one of the best tournies I have seen in my time.
It's been a great tournament. Some unbelievable games referees have been very good indeed overall. Been some play acting from Italy recently but overall that seems on the decline & they seem to have found a much better balance with VAR.

I've got Spain in the sweep but I fancy Italy from what I've seen to date.

If England win it, fair does, they've grown into the tournament, played solidly and like you, I like Southgate, his approach and how he conducts himself.

Oh they are a good team alright, with a population 10 times the size of ours, how much have they spent to get to this stage, with a relatively easy run to the semi final they bloody well should be favourites to win this and if you look at their record over the past 50 years and compare it like for like with the other 4 major football playing countries they are in fact pretty pisch. they get to play most of their games at home but according to some this does not give an advantage **** right off this is a huge advantage. Consider travelling to butt **** nowhere and back for a round trip of 5,000 miles playing a game in Asia in temps over 35 degrees, not going to listen to anyone saying they have not had it easier than some other teams and they are about to meet one of them in the semi final which the pundits tell us is just a formality on the way to it coming home!!!wherever ****ing home is...even Boris is at it, call it soar grapes I for one is sick to ma back teeff taking ***** of them. Did they manage to beat us, with all there multi millions did they **** I demand that we get to say we are at the very least joint Euro chumps, or is it champs, Kane is a ****in cheating ***** as well.
    **** them I say.

Generally excellent, not giving needless fouls and mostly ignoring the histrionics. VAR very good too.

Also agree with your summary: Italy favourites and playing great football but England are very solid if a little dull. I think that's going to be the final and think Italy will just shade it.

My son has Italy in his brothers football teams sweepstake.

He gets 70 quid if Italy win.

    Forza Italia!

I stuck £20 on England before the Germany game as an insurance bet at 4/1.

No striker in the Spain starting line up. I know Morata has been poor but why not give Moreno a try through the middle instead of playing him wide when you use him FFS.

I've got Italy at 11-1 to win before the tournament started. Only stuck a tenner on it though so no split loyalties tonight. Viva España 🇪🇸

Nice of BBC to have a whole 30 min build up to a semi final and some of that to England.

Now Danny Murphy fek right off

I turned the volume off prior to kick off, I just knew they'd get in some England content.

The Italians play at the tempo a game should be played at. Unfortunately most teams don’t have the required abilities to do it.

Cant remember why, but why do the linesmen not put their flag up when it is a clear offside until they have a shot at goal?

Italy pressing high, very aggressive and risky against a team like Spain…

I think it’s because of VAR of the flag goes up they don’t complete the phase of play if a goals scored they check anyway

I admire teams that don't change the way they play, let's worry about ourselves and see if they can cope with us, won't always pay off but it's brilliant

This is true. Still wonder how good Spain could be with a David villa or a Raul up front.

I think that ball has just landed in the Thames from that Spain shot!

Spain passing Italy off the park, making them look ordinary. Neither side seem to have bite in the final 3rd so looking like a long night of pretty football. Still think Italy will edge it.

Chiellinin, player of the tournament. Hibs should enquire.

Can't help but feel Spain have adopted a rope a dope tactic.

Spain have been very impressive but I think either team will beat Denmark in the final.
