Its simply impossible to make a good kit out of that colour, simple as.
Have they darkened the maroon they use on their kits now? Looks almost dark broon which drains the life out of you when you look at it 😂 I know it's a hertz kit but if it was the same colour they use in their badge at least it would have something about it. Just looks damp and depressing. A soulless uniform for a club void of identity.

That dundee utd kit is also awful. Macron gave the smaller club dundee a kit 10 times better than that dundee utd one idk what they were thinking.
Don’t get your post? Are Dundee United consistently compelled to wearing better looking kits than Dundee or? As another poster pointed out, it’s the club who have chosen said designs. If Dundee choose wiser, I don’t see what issue it should present for a Hibs fan.

came on to say that. I'm glad hearts have done it and frankly I wish it was us. I absolutely get they have connections due to the former captain however.

    the strip is utterly minging.

Hibs have given the sponsorship to charitable causes for the last two seasons, fans just complained about missed revenue opportunities and how it showed up how poorly we were run that we couldn't get sponsorship. Hearts do it and apparently it's something fans we wish Hibs had done

Not having a go at either side, but it just goes to show that Hibs really can't win with these things

Meanwhile, Dundee Utd let the local nursery design their home kit.

Away strip isn’t too bad but I’m looking for a points deduction for the home one.

Really pleased we never stayed with Macron now!
Going to go against the grain and say I like both kits. I prefer the Joma kits we have but I still like Dundee Utd efforts particularly the away strip. If it was Hibs and the home was emerald and bottle green I'd have preferred the darker colour to be a 1/and split rather than 50/50 as it is in the Utd strip but it's a smart design for a non traditional kit.

I usually hate green shorts on our home kit but the dark green shorts same colour as the bottom of the top with the white socks that the team wore last night is class. Wonder if we’ll mix and match the home and away kits a bit this year, ie the team in all white now and again/ white socks on the home kit etc

I was just saying normally kit suppliers make nicer kits for the bigger clubs.

    Hearts haven’t done that.

Their sponsorship is with Dell who have paid to be sponsors but have supported putting MND on the shirts.

Yep but they paid to enable MND to be on the front.

Hearts haven’t gone without a commercial sponsor to do this.

They did, and Hearts will make a donation to MND for every shirt sold this season

Each to their own, I personally think it's an appalling effort.

Homage to their sister club who won their first title last season?

We can't really say it isn't when it's probably about 90% similar to our away kit. Unless you don't like out away kit of course! Haha

Don’t really understand why they have that pink/red colour in the Celtic kit looks really tacky compared to ours.

I can’t imagine the fans will be happy with the socks sporting the red turnovers given they believe Rangers kit has this to represent them being up to their knees in blood.

Has that been confirmed yet? These socks are honking. The away kit is all green so what will they wear against us?

The neckline is horrible, the pink turnovers on the socks are a joke and the sponsor is sitting just above his bellybutton.

I think Adidas are doing Celtic a disservice with this effort. Also the new Rangers kit, while in theory, is a good concept, in reality its cheap looking with a very odd gold colour for the sponsors numbers ect.

Dont worry, the 4th of 5th kit will be rolled out for their first visit to Easter Road.

I saw someone in the Rangers kit on Friday (I think?) and I honestly thought it was a cheap knock off kit, I didn't realise it was an official release. In the flesh it looks terrible they've been let down badly by Castore and I'm expecting a repeat of the complaints about quality from last season. If travel was allowed I'd have automatically assumed it was bought out a beach front shop abroad while on their holiday.
