EXCLUSIVE: Six more VIP-lane companies revealed - Good Law Project
Good Law Project is now able to reveal the names of six more companies awarded PPE contracts through the controversial’ VIP’ fast-track lane for associates of ministers and advisers. These six firms landed nearly half a billion pounds of public contracts – all without competition – and were uncovered in documents prised from Government in the course of our litigation:

MPs launch legal challenge against Govt over alleged Russian interference in UK elections (thelondoneconomic.com)
A cross-party group of MPs and peers will ask the High Court to give the go-ahead for a legal challenge against the Government over its alleged failure to investigate possible Russian interference in UK elections.
Six parliamentarians claim Boris Johnson unlawfully failed to act following a report they say found “credible evidence” of attempts to “interfere with the UK’s electoral processes from at least the time of the EU referendum in 2016”.

"any other government would have done the same"
He might be right, but no other government tries to control what other countries do.There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Then goes to provide zero reasons why it was proper or any actual justifications. He says it in a posh accent though, while wearing olde worlde kegs, so it'll fly with a lot of people.

It just feels like England is so mired in the class structure of Royalty, Lords/Ladies, landed gentry, upper class, middle class and working class that people will accept bull**** as long as that bull**** is coming from their supposed betters. I can't see how else these ****ers are getting away with it. Waffle in a posh accent, throw in a bit of Latin, mention some Greek god and then move on, it is mass blindness by the whole of the country. The whole royalty thing is mind blowing as well. Marry a black American and be a but outspoken and we'll hound you, be besties with a paedophile, appear to like girls on the young side and refuse to answer questions from the authorities about it and that's ok then.

Had a go at PPE with £13m up front, never worked out but surely deserves a second chance?
With another similar amount framing a picture should be possible, especially if there's no competition or scrutiny.
**** Might even have a go myself.....

Matt Hancock outed by the sun as having been pumping his top adviser. In typical Tory fashion he's been using public money in order to hear Nat King Cole sing his very greatest hits.

Hancock surely will be removed from post shortly. Problem is who then replaces him.

The video was taken by CCTV in Hancock's office and released to the press by an 'unknown source'
Hancock has clearly been thrown under the bus by whoever is actually in charge at Downing St.

"Rich businesswoman found to be acting as 'unpaid advisor' to government minister" should be the headline.

I listen to Radio X in the morning. They are running a bizarre different take on the story. Absolutely no mention of an affair and they are reporting the issue as Hancock hugging a friend when it wasn’t allowed

Shapps called the story a "red herring", but didn't add anything to explain what he actually meant. He also said the aide would have been through an "incredibly rigorous" process to get the job...which has horrible connotations.

OK, the Sun reported it as 'unpaid advisor', so they were wrong again.
Here's a better bit of background from The Independent.
"The woman Matt Hancock allegedly had an affair with is a millionaire mother-of-three who is the marketing and communications director at independent high street retailer Oliver Bonas.
Gina Coladangelo was reportedly caught on camera kissing the beleaguered health secretary in pictures published by The Sun early on Friday morning.
The 43-year-old, who was previously a director at lobbying firm Luther Pendragon, met Mr Hancock at Oxford University where they became close friends over a shared passion for student radio.
She studied politics, philosophy and economics (PPE) and reportedly continued to be close friends with Mr Hancock after completing her studies in 1998, the same year as Mr Hancock.
Ms Coladangelo was handed a role as non-executive director at the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) in September last year."

Slightly tricky one for all the parties this because they've pretty much all had recent sex scandals so its hard to attack it without inducing 'but what about' responses.
He'll have to go, either now or soon.

If 140,000 deaths, the prime minister calling him ****ing hopeless and pumping a close adviser doesn’t see the end of Hancock then **** knows what will. Maybe he’ll be found to have wiped it on a Union Jack, that’ll finish him off.
