And apart from the Arsenal game, they haven’t even told the fans what pre season games we have
Come on Hibs, could do with better communication on these games
Are we not playing Raith for Iain Davidson's testimonial

RIGHT! I’m fed up now. When are we going to hear some positive transfer news from Hibs?
Pre-season just a week away and our European adventure only weeks beyond that, c’mon Hibs, let’s be having some happy news
Boyle, Nisbet, Doig & Porteous still being Hibs players the week before pre season is positive ........but subject to change.

McGinn is 4/5 years younger than Thiago & Henderson & there must also be question marks over long term injury impact. Makes perfect sense to me, 1st bid of £100m should do it!
Can you just imagine our neighbours if that sort of thing happened and we were on 20%-30%. You can almost feel the seething now 😂

Reading back the AGM thread, seem to be a bit of discussion on how much it’s worth, but the FD, Gaunt said that it was 20% sell on fee, and 30% of that went to St Mirren
If that’s the case a £50m fee would net Hibs £10m, we’d give £3m to Saints

    Sell on = 10% ==> Hibs 5%==> St Mirren

    That's my understanding

At the AGM the figure 20% was mentioned, but was corrected to 15% by the Interim CE. This 15% was the figure Leanne mentioned at one of the HSL meetings.

I don't think Spurs will consider that bid. £125 million starting bid required.

Zero chance they get him. New Arsenal deal to be annouced soon. A waste of time for Villa to bid for him I think.

Central midfield wasn't their issue. Thiago, Henderson and Fabinho is still a very good midfield. Wijnaldum is a big miss, though. I do agree they should be after a player, but having Fabinho back in there and Van Dijk fit will be a much bigger difference than getting McGinn would.
Henderson has been out for months and is a bit injury prone while Thiago has taken a bit of time to get up to speed. Wilnaljdum has played every week.

Report suggests he is choosing them over us and Aberdeen.
In other reports I am refusing this week's lottery numbers for a scratchcard win.

10, 15 or 20% with a further percentage to St M. Is hardly the ‘eye watering’ add on clause that Steve Bruce was quoted as saying at the time SJM was transferred. That would seem pretty standard or even at the low end of add on clauses.

Think what Bruce meant, was the amount of clauses in his contract

20% of £30m is £6m, even with a 3rd going to St Mirren he’s still bagged Hibs a £7m fee.

It’s all relative but that’s pretty eye watering to me.

We wouldn’t get it all in Omer though, would be spread over the contract term

It’s still a lot of money. Put it this way, it’s no good for us SJM staying at Villa.

I don’t think that is the case. But if it is, what are they?
There will be nothing in McGinns contract with Villa that St M get anything. That will only exist in the contract Hibs have with St M.
So other than a specific sum due to Hibs. What other clauses are in the contract (which would be an amount that could be described as ‘eye watering’?)
