Is there a scenario where England could fail to get out of the group if they lose to the Czechs and we beat Croatia, or is the 4 points they already have enough?
No, with 4 points they would still almost certainly qualify as one of the best 3rd place finishers. You’d need a combination of 5 or 6 unlikely results in the final week and some big scoreslines as well for that not to happen.

Right. Goal disallowed for offside, but the freeze frame shows the goal scorer onside and another player offside

Gnabry was offside when the ball was played, if he'd left it the goal stands but unfortunately he lunged for the ball and missed which means he made himself part of the play.

So Ronaldo clears the ball from a corner in his own penalty spot and then runs the length of the pitch to get on to the ball in the box and score. Yet some people will tell you he isn't a team player and is past it.

The offside player tried to play the ball it would have beeen a goal if he hadn't done so.

Ah right, hadn't noticed how he went for it.

In other news, Ronaldo!!! That's cheeky, the wee flicks. 😁

I know he has scored, and did well to go from box to box to get in position for a tap in. However Portugal, in this game, look like they have a man less. Ronaldo is like the rich mans Jamie Maclaren IMO. Although Germany have been very good.

Why does Havertz not smile when he scores? Absolutely bizarre he takes no pleasure in scoring.

So if England beat Czech Republic looks like they'll play Germany in next round?

Germany looking very good. Portugal look pretty average. 30 mins to go, this could get messy for Ronaldo and Co.

The Portugese are amongst the worst defenders in the comp.
