Ridiculous how former Eastern block nations have far superior national stadiums to us, part of a G7 nation.

WTF does that have to do with anything

Hungary look better than us. Depressing we are the worst team in the tournament tbh

Ronaldo constantly looking at the big screens, even after missing that sitter.

    That ego needs feeding.

    Behind the goals looks incredible.

Will say it again the sooner Hampden is redeveloped the better.

Also Scottish government needs to let fans into Easter Road for start of the season - 10,000 minimum.
Yip Hampden is so so dated. Not at all hopeful that fans will be in ER, I have a feeling once Scotland has played Croatia you'll see increased restrictions come back.

Thought that too but after what the FM today there's no chance of that happening.

He looked at the asst referee for that first.

He always looks at the screen after he's been on the ball. Always.

I know it's been answered already but can't be bothered trailing through posts to find out but how come Hungary have a full capacity stadium, do they not have Covid there?

Dunno what their governments stance is, but they did mention that everyone in the stadium had to have been vaccinated

To be honest if I was a good looking world football superstar I think I might gve a quick glance to the screen to make sure the hair was perfectly in place. We can but dream.

That sounds fair tbh, it's a step we should do over here.

Hungary doing ok here, Portugal looking a bit like Spain, all huff and puff but don't look like scoring.

Just looked, jeez that is high, Pop 10m 30K deaths, Scotland 5.2m 7.600 deaths a massive difference.

If Portugal don’t win this I can’t see them making the knockout stages.

Would be happy to see him come back and compete with Macey. Thought he was unlucky not to get a chance in his 2nd loan spell.

Orban should be off for that foul. Didn't attempt to play ball, instead just pulls him back. Foul was commited before he was near the ball.

Going into the last 10 mins Portugal looked like they could toil to get out the group. Now they could be favourites.

Na. Germany and France will beat Hungary. Its tonight game that will tell us a lot. Not overly impressed with Portugal. Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo silva were rubbish

Ronaldo hardly in the game and scores 2, a pen and a bit of class by him, the man's 36 and a machine, just so fit.

Despite losing, the Hungary fans were doing quite an impressive Iceland style coordinated hand clap/chant thing at the end. Seema Jaswal the presenter says ‘so that’s 3-0 for Portugal, and these fans showing just what it means’.

Surely she knows what country the game is being played in??
