I presume using the same logic you don’t want pretty much every footballer in the world here? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Near enough everyone would rather sign for Celtic than Hibs unfortunately.

You'd have to make an informed decision financially.

Think this summer is going to be extremely quiet. Don't see much happening. I think we'll keep small squad. Also, if Celtic are keeping Griffiths then we'll probably keep Nisbet unless we've got another hidden gem lined up.
Hope it is more interesting than I expect as league will be tougher next season and we had some nasty stutters last season which would've been easier to avoid if we had some competition for places. When's pre-season starting?

We have already lost Marciano with Macey coming in although he was already here tail end of last season, will Dabrowski be No2 or go on loan?
Stephen McGinn has already departed and we aren't yet sure what Irvine will do?
I'd expect McGregor to have less game time and sure it was reportedly we'd sign another CB if Porteous was staying and 2 if he left.
Also think in may have been reported that we wanted another striker and again maybe 2 if we lost Nisbet.
There has to be question marks over Allan and Hallberg if they want to go and be 1st picks elsewhere.
Decisions also to be made on Fraser and Gullan I'd imagine.
Also expect Tom James to move on.
Edit.. Mallan not Allan
Not saying Mallan and Hallberg should move on I just think they may want more game time.Last edited by 04Sauzee; 10-06-2021 at 04:43 PM.

Think we'll probably see another keeper (maybe a loan) ,CB,midfielder to replace Irvine (or Irvine to sign) and a striker. Can't see there being wholesale changes and it'll be about quality rather than quantity.
Could make for boring thread!

Stephen McGinn isn't really like losing a player. That was a backup to the backup type job. Irvine is definitely a point, I have a feeling he won't be back and tbh I'm not bothered. We'll need to get someone though.
Tom James will likely be gone. Mallan and Hallberg are good points but without transfer interest I doubt we'll shift them on for free.
Fraser Murray and/or Jamie Gullan leaving will be a relative non-event as they've done well on loan but still look so far from holding down a 1st team position. Especially Fraser Murray, who clearly has quality, but reminds me of Sam Stanton.
My guess is we may see 4-5 player changes at most. Sounds reasonably large number until you look at squad size and Murray, Gullan, Mallan, Hallberg, James, Irvine and Marciano situations. Hope we've got youngsters ready to step up, I think the batches labelled very promising are still too young.

Should hopefully see something over the next week or so. Even clarity over Irvine situation…

Be some move for Porteous if it happens. Probably not the best league but Galatasaray are a massive club.

Would be a far more ambitious and exciting move than a mid-table EFL Championship team.

Hopefully £2m+ with substantial add-ons.

Reckon if we can get about £1.5m with a decent sell on he’ll be away. Probably wouldn’t complain at that

If true and we cash in, I’d be giving St Johnstone a significant share of that for Jason Kerr.
