He has been a SJM type signing in being of huge value very quickly after signing, guaranteed to make us a huge profit and may well make us money in future sales. Squirrel WAS brutal in the final but he’s got a lot of credit in the bank with us over a decent length of time. Nisbet’s only been with us a year and whilst he’s been an undoubted success, it’s only been a year - and one with a few blips along the way too.

And whilst Squirrel has an awful lot of credit in the bank - it was a poor performance in a big game at Hampden - not his first. It’s not “sell him now” material but a mark in the negative column.

Boyle shouldn’t be getting a free ride.

I pretty much agree with your post above though. Albeit my point was how pathetic this thread has turned - with a quality moment for Scotland and Nisbet resulting in our player being called a prick and Scotland fans being slagged for the same and apparently only going to the odd game (all around the world) because one person once said a bad word to another poster.
