Really hope we sign LG. I have heard from a few folk that his diet is shocking, but never that he’s a disruptive influence around a team environment. Still one of the best strikers I’ve seen in a Hibs jersey. I dream of him up front, Scott Allan picking him out with defence splitting passes.....

Stokes was anything but a great professional but look at the performance he put in when it mattered most in 2016. The guy was almost unplayable in that cup final.
It's part and parcel of a manager's job to take maverick types and continue to make the dressing room work.
I cant help but feel if you have a team filled with 7/10 great professional types you'll do well in the league over 30/40 odd games but you might be lacking that spark that someone like Griffiths/Stokes can bring when you need it.

Reckon the teams lacking a wee bit personality. Someone with a bit swagger who believes they’re the best player on the park whenever they play.

Ajer to Newcastle?
Reports claim #NUFC have secured their first signing of the summer - and for just £6m.

If he’s going for 6 million
Darren mcgregor must be worth 16 and he’s 36 years young

LG is now out of contract with Celtic, but they have an option to extend it by a year, they are also reported to be interested in Kevin Nisbet, what does this mean? Will it be a drawn out process whereby we have to wait for them to appoint a manager before the horse trading begins? What is going on behind the scene?

Given EEN are usually in the know on this sort of stuff I would assume the noice from Hibs is that we have a decent chance in getting him.

That means LG is free to sign and we don't have to deal with them regarding KN we can listen to any offers

It’s good to be speculating about transfers again. How is this for speculation?
All the early gossip about interest in Boyle,Nisbet and Porteous can now be put to bed because the scouts had a third or fourth look at them in other games, including that f@@@@@@g cup final performance. Attention has now turned to Gogic and Macey.

I think I read a couple of articles recently saying that Griffiths hadn’t given up on getting a contract from Celtic and that he was eager to find out if the new manager might be interested. Personally, I think he has burned his boats at Parkhead and he should really try to salvage his career elsewhere.

I'd be taking a half-fit Leigh to the Euros if I'm honest. 20 minutes to go, needing a goal from either open play or set piece, he's a match winner.
I'm hopeful he'll be in the right green and white colours next season

If Griffiths signs, we might actually start selling season tickets again, given I’d be surprised if the sales since the cup final have hit 3 figures.
Make it happen, Hibs!!!

Kyle Turner signs for Partick Thistle. Some Jambos were clambering for Hearts to sign him.

Only seen him the once early in the season when he looked fantastic against Hearts, not sure if that was a one of performance.

Someone needs to tell the Daily Ranger and these Celtic chumps. They're all wetting themselves at the thought of using Griffiths to attract Nesbit to CelticDid they not learn anything from the John McGinn cock-up ? They're not going to re-sign or extend Griffith's contract just to use him as some kind of pathetic bargaining chip. Nesbit might well go to Celtic, but it will be at the full market value, plus add ons

Maybe Southampton will fancy Nisbet and just cut out the middlemen
