Celtc have been Southampton's feeder club for ages.

Would certainly feel a lot more confident going into the big games with a striker like Griffiths

I still have a hunch he’ll go to Dundee.

There is zero information in that story.
What is significant about today is that Celric stop paying Leigh today and he ceases to be a Celtic player today.
    Similarly Jackson Irvine at Hibs.

I ask myself, is gambling on Griffith's fitness and well being any riskier, especially considering the potential reward, than offering contracts to guys recovering from serious injury?

My conclusion is that we should be getting him signed up.

Wotherspoon would probably improve our team. Not because he's a great player -he is a good player - but because we don't have a ball carrier who can beat a man in midfield.

We don't lack quality, just a bit of variety.
    Murphy
    Boyle
Potentially Magennis when he gets going

If Hibs are in for him i'd say out the 2 clubs we would be in pole position to sign him up , Hibs fan and offer more in wages

    100%.

Going into next season with Doidge & Griffiths as our 1st choice strikers would suit me fine.

There is a growing feeling that getting a talented 16 year old into the top clubs early will provide the best chance of bringing them on to the next level.

And the loan system enables top clubs to stockpile talent and then control the careers of countless young players.

As a very minimum, we need to ban loan signings within the same division again.

Given the limits imposed by our budget, Hibs do have to gamble sometimes with signings in order to get the talent we want. Last season we did that with Murphy, Magennis and Wright, all recovering from serious injury. Signing Leigh is probably in the same category, but with different circumstances. Getting him on board would be a huge boost for the fans and help the player himself get prepared for his second coming (nae pressure Leigh).

Doidge and Griffiths would offer a tremendous first choice front two, assuming that Nisbet will be offski (which I think is a given).

Im not convinced anybody will bid what we want for Nisbet.
