Thanks Billy that is very clear.
2nd round should be easy enough but ramping up after that.
Suspect if we reach the play off round we would meet a big team dropping from a tournament above so unlikely to make it over the final hurdle.
However, as always fingers crossed that the draw is kind and we take our chance if there is one to reach the group stages.
Not being seeded in Q3 could play into our favour here.

Assuming the play off is drawn before Q3 is finished then we'd have the higher coefficient of our opponents in Q3 in the draw for the play-off which would increase the likelihood of being seeded.

Would still require an upset in the form of us beating a seeded team in Q3, but it would not be impossible - there are some big upsets every year in the qualifying rounds.

below are the teams we could play in Q3 - to be seeded in the play-off we would likely need to draw one of the teams with a coefficient of 17 or higher.

If we get drawn against Molde again, at least they won’t have Erling Haaland this time.

As more clubs qualify for the Conference League it is confirmed that Hibs are now seeded for the second round qualifying draw along with Aberdeen.

They’re still a team I’d rather avoid, I just remember Haaland being superb when we played them.

There’s a couple of very winnable games in the teams higher up that list. It looks to me as if the playoff round will be at a similar level to the 3rd round of the Europa League in the old set up where we played Molde last time around.

With some decent luck in the draws there’s no reason we can’t be looking to make the group stage

They stayed at the hotel in Athens our bus left for Tripolos from. There tracksuits were the same as scotland ones and I assumed they were Hibees at first in a scotland training top. Sure they won their tie that night in Athens

I thought this new tournament was supposed to give the "lesser" leagues a decent shot at extended European football. How come the Scottish representatives still have to play six ****ing games to get there? No doubt some loser 10th placed Spanish/Italian/English team qualifies automatically?
Don’t worry, it’ll be against similar levels of ***** to ourselves.

Doing some research about driving as bored at work:

Dynamo Brest (Belarus) 1562 miles, dodgy politically and I am sure you'd need a visa and all that to go in any case.
    Dunajska Streda (Slovakia) 1418 miles
    FC Ashdod (Israel) Too far
    Valerenga (Norway) 1390 miles
    BK Hacken (Sweden) 1278 miles
    IF Elfsborg (Sweden) 1286 miles
    Lokomotiv Plovdiv (Bulgaria) 2055 miles
    Sumgayit (Azerbaijan) Too far
    Tobol (Kazakhstan) Too far
    Shakhter Karagandy (Kazakhstan) Too far
    Torpedo Zhodino (Belarus See Brest
    Rakow Czestochowa (Poland) 1415 miles
    Pogon Szczecin (Poland) 1194 miles

I am off work for 7 weeks over the summer, really fancying a road trip, I think Slovakia, Norway, Sweden and Poland are all doable.

Copenhagen for the Brondby match was the same. Spent more there in a day and a bit that I did in Benidorm in 3 days a week later
