This is a bit left field but I wouldn't mind us signing Jake Hastie. There's a player in there. When he runs with the ball he's a bit like McGinn. Still only 22. If it was cheapish I would sign him. I reckon he'd make a better midfielder than winger.

Jamie Hamilton. Got sent off against us. He’s highly thought of I think.

He was certainly getting talked up by the commentators on radio scotland during Sunday's game. 19 just.

McMann is your solid, dependable SPFL player that can play left of a back 3 or left back. Essentially like Paul McGinn.

Whether he is as good I have no idea and wouldn’t until he signed. I’ve really liked us having a left back like Doig that bombs forward and has plenty energy though and I’m not sure that’s McMann.

Maybe Ross just wants options though and is planning on playing a different shape or more competition? I can’t imagine he would cost much with Hamilton being relegated and him in the last year of his contract. He’s also only 24 so plenty improvement to be had.

As for Jamie Hamilton I know he’s talked up but I’ve never seen anything that’s impressed me, if people think Porteous is rash they’re in for a shock!

I would love us to go for Kerr and McCart from St Johnstone, two very good players who have room to improve. Big, strong, dominant and good on the ball.

The Jambos have got a rumour on the go that a 20 million investment is imminent. They're after a lad from N Ireland and Ross Callaghan. Clearly players in the 20mill bracket.

I would invest in them. They always use their money so well!

Are they trying to finish their stand? They'll need a bit more than that.

We’ll need to decide which of this summer’s signings replaces Efe Ambrose in the chant in that case

I loved Efe last time, but he looked a shadow of his former self at Livingston..wonder if he has lost his appetite for the game

We bit more on Mcmann there. Apparently very good from set pieces although I don’t actually know what that Xa in that tweet means?

I like Gallagher. Him and Mcrorie as a CB pairing will be one of the leagues best.

Glass would be wise to make them hard to beat initially, and take it from there. Good start with those two at the back IMO.

I see McCrorie as a CB too but Aberdeen seem to play him elsewhere.

Glass may see things differently of course.

Pretty sure it’s expected assists. Same kind of idea as expected goals I’d reckon.

McCrorie is a CDM for me. Aberdeen have played him all over the park.

I have a feeling Arsenal are committed to buying Doig. Hopefully we get megabucks and a loan back for next season.

Transfer BOMBSHELL about a player that has hardly featured this season.

Very likeable guy and not the worst player to pull on a Hibs shirt and wish him well if he moves on.

Completely understand Hallbergs opinion but think it’s bizarre and poor timing

Would like to keep him on as a squad player but by the sounds of it he’ll be off, probably on a decent wage too.

The interview may have cost him his cup final place.

There's nothing surprising in what he says though.

He'd like to play more regularly and wants to talk to the manager to see if that's on the cards. If not he'll probably look for a move.

Nobody can blame him for that.

The Sun are doing their very best to try and dampen our build up to the final.

  28. #1107
His problem is that he will feel he is too good to be just a squad player and i agree with him. His other problem is he just isn't quite good enough to be a first choice midfielder at Hibs. Can't stand in the guys way if he wants regular football. Hope he stays though as he's useful.

From what I can gather, Jack Ross spends a lot of time speaking to the players individually so there's probably nothing he doesn't already know in the interview.

The sun being the sun. What do they have against Hibs? Said it previously but all the St J stories coming out seem positive whereas the Hibs ones ,not so much. They have us losing Boyke, Irvine and now Hallberg. Tomorrow it'll be Doig and Porto. Saturday will be Nisbet.

The Sun are really having a go at us...... Hallberg, in an interview with Swedish publication Barometern, said: "I have another year of my contract and we will see what happens.

"I have not been allowed to play as much as I want and that's part of football I suppose.

It doesn't really sound like he is desperate to get away imo
