I hate seeing the onset of bickering commencing on here.

    Players’ families and employees please.

[QUOTE=wallpaperman;6562590]I have read it again and again and still not getting the point, so pardon me for being slow, but could you enlighten me to what I am missing?

Trust me, it includes games at Nuetral venues. However, I dont think its gonna matter on this occasion.

UEFA have only granted permission to use the South Stand, allegedly the other three are having preparatory work done on them ahead of the Euros. Advertising and branding no doubt.

Add in the ridiculous 2m distancing and that’s why they end up at 600.
I was worried that the fans would be in either end, which would mean seeing more of the action on my phone than on the pitch.

But a combination of UEFA and the Scottish politicians has resulted in a ridiculously low number of fans bein able to attend.

How many AST holders do we have?

I wouldn't be against those who committed to one this season getting a chance of a ticket, tbh.

Agree with this with maybe a handful given to some of our oldest supporters.
They would be the worst ones that could go considering the current circumstances.

    Genuine question here.

Where ASTs ever confirmed for this season? I tried to apply for one this season but all I received was a thank you email saying Hibs would be in touch as the situation evolved, suffice to say no money has ever been deducted and no further communication about it has come forward.

Did anyone else, new or existing, receive any further confirmation that I didn't?
I returned the form they sent out and got an email back to confirm that I’d been marked as renewed.

The Scottish government are biased towards the old firm? Interesting
You’re kidding yourself if you think that this would’ve been the same outcome if either of the old firm had been involved.

350 max but probably less than that actually signed up for one

Since the AST was introduced the process followed i.e. deduction of payment has been applied for all competitive ticketed matches played at stadiums in Scotland, including Hampden.

So whilst it is a neutral venue, for the purposes of the AST ‘membership’ it’s treated as an away match.
I imagine these tickets will be balloted and not sold as normal therefore AST wouldn’t apply. As an AST holder I agree this is the fairest way - all season ticket holders should have the same chance of getting a ticket.

Note to the ASTs - you've attended every match this season that you paid for under the AST.

Meanwhile Hibs season ticket holders haven't been able to attend a single game all season.

So take your chances in the ballot with your fellow Hibs fans please.

AST holders have to be home season ticket holders. Whats your point?

  15. #1304
300 fans supporting the team. Good heavens.

Those who attend will get the real experience of being a Hearts away fan.

I’m sure it does, though the T&C’s don’t state that.

If there were 1000 tickets available to each team, I would say absolutely give the AST holders first refusal, but the tiny amount available would make some fans aggrieved for one reason or another.

For that reason I would split them between the players and coaches families, then with what is left let other club employees enjoy the day out with their families. If any left after that, let major sponsors of the club have a couple of tickets each if they want them.

Strange times call for strange measures.

I'd probably be inclined to just give them to AST holders, especially if the numbers pretty much add up.

They sign up to quite the commitment.

The terms are a bit ambiguous, but I'd have expected neutral games to count in what they're saying. Presumably that was the case in previous years for AST?

If there had been limited tickets for an away league game like Stranraer, I'm pretty sure the AST holders would have been guaranteed a ticket without needing to be in a ballot.

I wouldn’t get embroiled, I’d say over 80% of away season ticket holders don’t post on here, you’d have to ask the admins why we don’t have a broader representation of Hibs support on Hibs.net

I’m a private traveller, but loads go on buses every week, the people who run these are fantastic and dedicate their every free moment to watching Hibs

Look forward to seeing how the 300 tickets are allocated tomorrow

The T&C’s of our AST state that they are limited to ensure there isn’t a situation where all available tickets are allocated to ASTs.

It’s the whole point of the scheme. By signing up to it you basically have a level of priority for tickets, over those who haven’t signed up to it.

With just 300 tickets available I don’t expect it to be used, and even though I signed up myself, I think I’d understand why. That said, if they want to use it on this occasion, that’d be great.

Right. The more I learn, the more the solution evades me.

Didn't The Rangers restrict our tickets to 400 recently? What happened then?

600 tickets in a stadium that holds 51,000, can't even work out how this comedy number was reached?

    It's a joke of a decision.

They only applied for a section of the stadium, not the whole stadium.

The section holds 600 when you have to apply 2m social distancing rules.
    Mon the Hibs.

The point of the scheme was to provide convenience for those of us that go away every fortnight not for priority. In particular it was set up for bus convenors and other groups to allow them to sort their buses with confidence that they’ll have people on them and groups are seated together.

We don't have the whole stadium so the point is moot

Be interested to know what we do have though

I'm guessing someone smarter than me could work that out on say 1500 at 1.5m distance as that's what the SFA were going for

Its probaly a section of one of the stands

400 exceeds the limit on ASTs that the club will issue.

600, will feel like the midweek semi final replay against Dunfermline in 2007.
