As I said delighted with Mackay. He’s young so will most likely be inconsistent so that’s where we need Murphy to be fit, compete and help him out.

Think he can also play through the middle similarly to Boyle.

I heard this after Ross C cup game where he scored. I was sworn to secrecy but as same source told me Daniel Armstrong a year or so back it wasn't difficult to oblige! FWIW I believe we're now intensely monitoring Scottish lower leagues, works for me!

He sounds like a perfect fit for us in Europe especially.

Pace and athleticism counts for so much at that level. Would love to see us get an athletic centre mid in as it’s something I wouldn’t say any of ours just now are naturally blessed with.
