I wouldn't have thought you would believe anything from that paper given your opinion on it.

My biggest worry is that they eventually force him out before the indyref campaign.

    +UPDATE+

Growing disquiet in the Conservative party about how much funding via party donors is going to pay personal, non-political & legal expenses of Boris Johnson & his family.

The amount is understood to run into hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Why would they be upset about that? He's King Boris now, isn't he. Tories like that kind of thing.

Seen a just out the packet new one today on a flagpole attached to the side of the garage belonging to one of our locals, flying cheerfully upside down.

Guys wee bungalow is like fort Knox with CCTV cameras everywhere so maybe he'll spot what's wrong with his flag.

A Tory in distress. Must be tempting to call the police in case he is being held hostage 😉

    Cheeky.

These aren't heartfelt statements from Conservative mps, there's been a memo sent out from that Union love bomb unit Johnson has set-up to say stuff like this.

How bereft of actual beneficial ideas are they?

I was in the cadet forces when I was wee, I think they're a great idea. I can't recall even a mention of politics when I was with them.

Two points though; I wasn't aware of any cadet forces attached to public schools. Any that were attached it was all private schools and, the funds were allocated from the military budget although money was also raised from the cadets [parents].

Of course things could have changed in the last 45 years lol.

Yep, in those days nobody would be accusing schools who declined to take part of hating their country.

Militaristic flag-****ging. Echoes of Thatcher during the Cold War/Falklands.

Tory voters seem to like that kind of Kitcheneresque guff.

Unless the Scottish electorate has changed dramatically folk like Ross and Davidson are the SNP's greatest electoral asset, if only for their irritant value for some.

The Tory machine either doesn't see it or genuinely doesn't have anyone more credible and or electable available.

Suspect they are about to see it at the ballot box.

What he does is a JOB? They actually give him money and a title to do what he's been doing? F*** me.

I wonder what his key objectives are, Can't just be standing about in a tank looking like Man at C&A's.
