Why are the lorries parked on the left hand side of the road? This pic wasn't taken in France.

    Fake news!
It would be a great bit of trolling if the Europeans now started to drive on the left, eat bendy bananas etc now we’re leaving.

If that happened would the Hanoverian Germans still Rule Britannia?

No trade deal with the EU now looks certain, barring a last ditch breakthrough. I've said it before, but I'm convinced this has been the plan all along with some of the Tory hardliners.

Too early to say. Still think Johnson's going for a triumphant 'I have in my hand a piece of paper' moment in a week or two.

Let's hope so, but I'm confident now. The government are in the crazy position of telling the EU to break some of their fundamental trade rules to benefit a country which has left the club. It's not happening, but, on the other hand, concessions from Johnson will send the Brexiteers crazy. He's in a difficult position. We need something to happen very soon.

    Never going to happen.

It was never going to happen.

With leaders like Gove and Shapp taking back control of this one everything will be fine.

They're been full time on who to blame for 3 and a half years and the two of them are now overseeing shovelling sand and sawdust onto the muddy Kent car park where the lorries will be dumped when they do arrive as they've taken a similar approach to their management of customs and border control.

The problem is though that the paper in his hand will be as useless as the one that Chamberlain had. At this stage any deal that he gets will still leave us worse off than we were before

Of course, but that's not how it'll be reported by Kuenssberg, redtops, Times, Telegraph. "Boris saves the day!"

I have a feeling Johnson wanted to brief all week that a deals not happening, only to pull one out of the bag at the last minute. Whether he has the negotiating skills to pull this off is another matter entirely.

Brexit is the only thing he will be remembered for. He played fast and loose with the future of the country for party politics, got his fingers burnt and vanished.

Will the price of fish come down?
I love smoked haddock but it's so darn expensive.
Since the fishermen all voted for Brexit I don't suppose it will. Greedy sods.

It probably will, particularly if there's no deal. The fishermen wanted Brexit to stop the French fishing in UK waters. If it's a no deal Brexit they may end up with more fish to themselves, but less people to sell it too = lower prices. Miles of queues at Dover won't help them.

    Short sighted nonsense.
