They wouldn't have if Benedictus had stood up to Wighton instead of standing off him and allowing him a clear run in on goal. Poor defending.
So he was too Latin getting a tackle in then?

Personally think Halkett is a bomb scare. Can attack a ball and that is about it imo. Also needs to learn to wear shorts the right size for him.
I think your last point is the crux of the matter, the man can’t find shorts that fit him, or he prefers the tight fitting shorts. Heading out onto the pitch in ill fitting shorts in order to sexually excite the cardigan wearing wife swapping brigade isn’t going to get him a Scotland call up. I’d like to think that the National team managers car keys haven’t ever been in a fruit bowl in a caravan amongst like minded individuals. I actually don’t mind Halket, but the minute you join that club and get involved in niche porn in a rover 75 you must know your career will suffer, just look at Gary Locke.

i hoped we would have signed halkett noticed in their game with ICT he looked to have lost a fair bit of weight, i thought he would get goals for them and he has, perfectly happy we have hanlon and porteous though :)

It's mental that they seem to think that they're some kind of world beaters!! A penalty after a minute would have killed the game a bit especially when it was never a penalty. Be interesting to see if the referee gets any games for a while. Absolute disaster for the guy

Hearts under Neilson in their promotion season were all about getting the early goal and killing the game there and then, and it worked a treat for them in most games.

We were too patient, I'm sure if you looked at the stats and checked when games were won, Hearts would have had a far higher percentage where they led at half time than we did.

Helps them when refs give them penalties every game, though.

To be honest, that looks to me he's telling his players to keep the Vaughn on his left foot.

His ACL injury was in his right knee, so it wouldn't make sense for Neilson to point to his left leg for that reason.

Yeah i'd go with that, tonight's result could be an indicator, not sure how many penalties they will get though

You'd think Mrs doctor Budge would have told the authorities she wants Napier to referee them all season. He can be in their bubble.

It will be a rented bubble, but they can pretend they own it.

Spot on. Very common to advise defenders the dominant foot of a striker coming on.

The first pen was one of the worst I’ve seen and the second dubious at best. I’m amazed the raith players stayed so calm. Back to them getting pens every game. Should we have a prediction of how many pens they get this season. I go for 15. They seem desperate to get hertz promoted. Pathetic.

What’s the record number of penalties awarded to a club in the Championship? Even with 27 games I think Hearts will romp it. Might put a few bob on that.

Predict the first penalty scorer and time.

Another complete shambles from her to add to her extensive list. Guaranteeing something that can’t be guaranteed and now back peddling massively so as not to bankrupt them.

"The Alternative Season Ticket Value Package" is a genuinely hilarious name.

A Jambo friend of mine appears to believe that if they log into one of their streams then they will automatically have been deemed to have chosen to take all eighteen games on streaming as the option. That's ****ing dreadful if true.

To paraphrase: ‘When we realised that Hibs might sell more season tickets than us, we drove sales with a catastrophically ill-judged promotion. I’ve now realised what a mistake that was, so in very simple terms I don’t want to honour it anymore.’

I predicted at the time that their 18 home match guarantee would prove to be a very costly mistake, but the Sage of Midlothian keeps on making very costly mistakes, so why change now?

... and without once admitting that she made mistakes - firstly by initally guaranteeing 18 matches at Tynecastle then by trying to go back on what she promised when streaming arrangements were announced for their first matches.

They're lucky to have a chairman who never makes mistakes. Ever.

Well that fair cheered me up. Glad to see Budge sticking to those renowned hearts traits of honesty and integrity* along with transparency and openness*

*Please note these hearts traits are only viable after 2013, before this date the club cannot say categorically that these traits were adhered to, or followed in any way.
