Brutal decision. How is that handball? The shot was struck at high speed with the Inverness player's arm tucked into his body. Never a penalty.
Even Preston said that on the radio.

If his arm wasn’t there then it would have hit him in the stomach. He can’t temporarily amputate his arm so the ball doesn’t hit it.

    Never a penalty.

Hearts looked weaker after bringing on Halliday, Roberts, Kingsley and Haring.

I’m pleased for them that they’ve got off to a convincing start to their season.

His arm was at his rib cage, not really much else he could do other than become double jointed. You’re the only person I’ve seen either on TV, here or twitter who thinks it was a penalty.

I wouldn’t think it was a penalty even if we were given a pen for it.

Good to see tynecastle empty, makes a pleasant change from looking at something that resembles a follow up to the hills have eyes

I’m with Andy. It’s a penalty for me. Hands are down by his side and he moves his hands up towards the ball.

Are you thinking your arms have to be dead against the side of your body?

    Not realistic.

Surely the intention is they aren’t out wider than your body?

In this case both arms were tucked in in front of the body. You can’t be giving penalties for that.

What a horrible run down ground it still looks..not one advertising banner covering any seats, and a load of old tatty flags piled on seats behind the goals..no idea where the cement mixers were hidden..

Was it just me who didnt think they were very good? Someone actually called it in here. Look to get the ball wide as much as possible and put balls into the box and that's exactly what they did

A really good opportunity for the entire nation to see the single tier megastand in all it's glory.

It'll be even better if it's ever finished.

I wouldn’t take anything at all from that tonight. We didn’t look great in our first game and they’ll undoubtedly be up for it.

I thought we started fantastic and very comfortable against a good Killie side. Hearts hung on and got lucky against a pap Inverness side who are treating the games as friendlies.

I’m still scared for the Semi mind you. Plukey and Whighton will probably have the game of their lives.

Ok, it’s a whoosh moment for me.

They got the ball to the wide players who put crosses into the box, and that’s a bad thing.

    Nut. Still no getting it.
The point I'm make is if it's that easy for a hibs fan to know how they are going to play you would expect better sides to suss then out quickly

That haven’t played any friendlies and weren’t match fit.

We started the game well, but the longer it went on the more Killie came into it. My point still stands though, it was Hearts first game I wouldn’t read anything into it just because they didn’t look good tonight.

they got relegated last season yet still beat us twice on our own turf (the second one was a bit of a pumping too)

their (and our) performances against other teams will mean nothing come Halloween
