I think making posts without knowing the facts or checking the authenticity of what you're claiming is the definition of being a flatulent ring piece.

Note: This post was made without checking the authenticity of my claim and the Oxford Dictionary may actually give a different definition of "Flatulent Ring Piece".

I stand corrected, you can't argue with the University of YouTube. I've learned on here recently that it's an even more elite place of education than, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and Princeton put together.

Why on earth are people risking their lives to come here?

We must be a better place than we get credit for.

Many of them will have a reasonable degree of English. We've colonised half the world and forced English upon them to the extent that its the main second language of the world. We benefit from this advantage everytime we leave the country.

This is the flip side - you reap what you sow.

I think the more pertinent question is what on earth are people trying to escape from that they are willing to risk their lives to come here.

HERE is as far away as they can get from what they are running from. Makes sense to me.

It’s not just here that people try to escape to. The numbers trying to get from France to Britain is a small percentage of the numbers who arrive in France.
Liberal democracies are the most attractive places in the world to live and work. There is nothing special about us.

I see his brother and "best friend" has died. He is being trolled about it online. Now, I hate his politics but why do people feel the need to do this?

It's a strange one, it annoys me to think that Trump is being trolled about the death of his brother but if Trump was to drop dead tomorrow I probably wouldn't care a fig.

That really doesn’t excuse the sick posts. Those doing it only allow Trump to claim the moral high ground.

Someone trolls me about the loss of of a family member regardless of their opinion of me I will go through them. Trump is an absolute twat but he deserves the right to grieve for his brother.

That was a Trump phrase and is quite apt, in the circumstances.

I bought everybody at my work a round of drinks when Thatcher died.
